About this house rental
Welcome to our fully renovated rustic retreat nestled on the scenic Ohio River. This 3 bed, 2 bath house boasts 10 acres of breathtaking riverfront property. Enjoy fishing and boating right from your doorstep, then unwind in the inviting hot tub. Gather around the cozy fire pit as you take in the tranquil views. Perfect for nature lovers seeking an unforgettable getaway.
Inside
-Every inch inside and out has been renovated!
-4 New Roku TVs, all bedrooms and living room
-Leather couch and loveseat
-Queen sofa bed in living room
-One 1st floor bedroom, other bedroom upstairs
-All new appliances and granite in kitchen
-2-full baths one with shower/tub and one with tub
-Eat/play/connect in the “game room” that includes electronic darts, board games, card games, and more.
-Laundry area with new full sized washer and dryer
Outside
-Covered porch with 7 person hot tub
-Deck across the back of the house with fantastic views of the river
-Gas grill
-6 Adirondack chairs for relaxing in the outside spaces
-Cornhole and ladder ball in the deck box on the porch, please keep track of bags and balls so the next guests can enjoy
-Playset intended for young children 3 to 6
-Public boat ramp less than 1 mile away in Aberdeen
-Firepit
-Wood pellet stove on deck **** wood pellets only not designed for firewood
-After signing a waiver guests may help themselves to the kayaks. They are available to guests at the tiny house or main house. First come first serve, please return to common area when not in use. ***Never leave them near the river's edge. Kayaks have been lost from waves washing them down river.
There is a tiny house on the northeast corner of the property that is listed on VRBO available to rent. It is rented most weekends and many weekdays. The property is partially wooded and privacy fences have been installed to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. See the photos.
Other things to note
To get your stay started as soon as you open the door we provide 1 to 2 days of paper products, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, shampoo, body wash, and a few regular and decaf coffee pods. We hope these supplies will give you time to unpack the items you bring or purchase things locally to use during your stay.
We also provide one bundle of firewood to use in the firepit and one hopper of wood pellets for the pellet stove on the deck. For your convivence we have firewood and wood pellets available to purchase on the covered porch. Those items can also be purchased locally. There are a number of box stores and small businesses across the river in Maysville KY.
*****The fireplace inside the house is NOT FUNCTIONAL. No fires inside the house.*****
The Ohio river valley is a hilly place. The driveway is no exception. The steepest portion of the drive is paved. As the incline diminishes it turns to gravel. **If you are going east on 52 it is a sharp turn into the driveway.
This property is filled with nature. You will likely see deer, squirrels, lots of bunnies, even a very shy beaver! We subscribe to a professional pest control service, but keep in mind you are in nature. You will see and hear critters.
You will be sent an access code for the front door 48 hours before check-in.
*** Hot tub WARNING Master Spas hot tubs contain strong magnets that could effect pacemakers
** All guests must be 25 or older unless accompanied by an adult

**No smoking/drugs- Air purification cleaning charge is $500
