This beautiful home’s history dates back to the 1800’s and is located directly across the street from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Appointed with 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, living room, formal dining room, kitchen, screened porch and laundry room. The home has updates, but retains many original features.
Park in one of the 2 available parking spots and you can walk to just about anywhere downtown. Home is on a quiet low traffic street. Seconds away from False River.
There is a public boat launch and public dock nearby. In the morning, you can walk to the local breakfast and coffee shop, Dough and Joe. In the evenings, walk to other nearby restaurants and bars. Like antique shops? You can walk to those too. There’s even a grocery store about 3 blocks away. Truly the perfect location in the Historic district of New Roads. The city’s lot next to the home is often used for events like car shows, triathlons, and more. You can’t get a closer spot. Mardi Gras parade route is a 30 second walk.

My friends and I stayed here in August, 2025. The house was very clean and was close to a lot of things in town. The host responded very quickly any time we messaged her. We enjoyed our stay in New Roads.

The house was great and had plenty of space for two families with littles. The home has a well equipped kitchen, is easy walking to lots of activities and has plenty of bathrooms. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
