About this house rental
Welcome to Our Lake Life Cottage! Our Lake Life Cottage is located six blocks from the shores of Lake Erie, in The Walleye Capital of the World. This four bedroom, two bathroom cottage sleeps 10 people comfortably (maximum of 10 people) on memory foam mattresses. There are USB outlets placed throughout the cottage for convenience. The 2nd floor ceilings are only six feet high as it is a dormer. We are a three minute drive to the Jet Express and the Fisherman’s Wharf. A two minute drive to the Port Clinton Lighthouse and a four minute drive to Lakeview Park and City Beach. We offer a fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances. If cooking is not your vibe, enjoy cuisine at one of our local establishments in the area like Lagoon Saloon, Bootleggers Waterfront Grille or Dock’s Beach House with a waterfront view.
The Lake Erie Islands are a short boat or ferry ride away on the Jet Express, The Miller Ferry, and the Kelleys Island Boat Line. The Portage River Paddling Company is close by and offers kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards, and Bicycle Rentals. If you like to shop, spend the day exploring, charming local shops in downtown Port Clinton and Marblehead. If you are a wine and local craft enthusiast, I would be remiss not to tell you to sip your way through the Lake Erie Wine Trail. Gideon Owen, Twin Oast Brewing Company, The Canoe Club, Mutach’s Market and Wine Room and Rocky Point Winery are just a handful of the dazzling, cork and tap establishments available to choose from.

Stayed here with friends for the long holiday weekend and we loved it! The house was beautiful and the location was perfect. Definitely will be booking here again next yr.

Our original VRBO was cancelled at the last minute due to flooding in the house. The owners of this house responded to my needs immediately, and were able to accommodate us last minute. The house was very clean, and well accommodating for my family of 5. Any questions I had were just about immediately answered. The location was perfect for just about all we did. I am thinking of using this house for a possible girl’s trip next year for a Put In Bay weekend! Very appreciative for all of their help and accommodations!

We had a very nice stay and accommodations in this hidden gem. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Easily handled our group 9. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels and small toiletries if you happen to forget some soap or shampoo. Very close to many places to eat and activities in the area. Would definitely consider this home if we are back in the area for softball tounaments.

Ashley was a gracious host and we loved our stay at Our Lake Life Cottage. The size and layout were perfect for two small families (we had 4 adults, two teens, and one little kid). The home was well stocked so we could cook our own meals and had plenty of towels and bedding. It was nice to have so many board game options too! We really appreciated the use of the garage and the folding chairs and pool noodles to bring to the beach! Would definitely stay here again.
