About this house rental
New Build - Welcome to our Modern Farmhouse Retreat on Church nestled at the end of a quiet street and just a 1 minute walk to a gorgeous beach where you can walk out into the water for days and enjoy fishing off the government dock. A 1,700 sf Linwood custom home built with a spacious and open floor plan, featuring vaulted ceilings, stunning beams and a Big Ass fan as well as a welcoming deck that spans 500 sf. This home has a perfect layout for 1-2 families to enjoy.

The home is modern yet super comfortable and equipped with all the amenities you will need. European white oak flooring throughout.
Open kitchen with island and 3 bar stools. Custom black cabinetry. Modern black stainless LG appliances, loads of storage including a Pantry and stunning quartz countertops. The kitchen is fully equipped with plate settings, cookware, cooking utensils, all the base kitchen essentials including some spices, oil, coffee etc., as well as LeCruset. The beverage station with bar fridge and coffee maker makes it super quick to grab a refreshment from the deck and chill your drinks.
The Dining table seats 8 comfortably and features a slab of black walnut that was struck by lightning! The Cantina cabinet provides additional bar storage.
The main living space boasts 22’ high ceilings and a wall of windows letting the sun or stars shine in. Skylight. Equipped with a custom leather 7’ comfortable sofa, chairs and poufs for extra seating.
The upstairs is dedicated to the Main Suite with King Size Pottery Barn bed, vaulted ceilings, white oak flooring, charcoal shiplap, dedicated work space, Hutch for clothing storage, sitting area as well as gorgeous ensuite bathroom with double vanity, walk-in glass shower, tile floor and modern light fixtures. This is a serene and moody space designed to be a retreat. Approx 400 sf upstairs.
The guest room, or Unicorn Room, features a Queen Size Pottery Barn bed and bedding, Endy mattress, sitting area, blackout blinds and closet. The main floor bathroom is equipped with a floating vanity, modern lighting and glass walk-in shower plus decadent lighting.
The fan favorite Bunk Room sleeps 8 and features 2 sets of Double over Double Endy mattress bunks with comfy bedding and loads of room for lots of kids to hang out. Each bunk has its own dimmable light and outlet to charge devices. School style lockers with hooks and shelves for storage and a 50” Smart TV for when it’s time to collapse after a day at the beach. The bunk room is equipped with a half bath, black out drapes and slider out to the deck.
Outdoor living features a sitting and dining area with couch, chairs and stools plus an umbrella on the East side. 2 Muskoka chairs on the West side of the deck to enjoy the afternoon sun. Landscape lighting. Weber BBQ. Fire pit with 6 chairs for s’mores and enjoying the night stars.
For trips to the beach there is a Beach Wagon equipped with umbrella and 5 chairs. Pack a cooler, towels and beach toys and the beach is a 1 minute stroll down the road.
Dedicated Laundry room with new LG washer and dryer. Laundry soap provided.
Private driveway for 2 vehicles.

We have stayed here two summers in a row and we would love to come back. I came with my 6 year old, 8 year old and 2 year old and the kids had an absolute blast. This is a home away from home. The cottage is clean, well stocked, beautiful and extremely functional. We had a very relaxing week away enjoying all the sunsets, hiking and beaches. The owners are incredibly kind, accommodating and responsive. We rate this an 11/10!

Our family of five just enjoyed our second stay in Oliphant at this fantastic, well-appointed property. We normally do not stay at the same place twice, but our kids had such a great time the first time that it was a no-brainer.
The property was just as we remembered it - beautiful, exceptionally clean, and with all the amenities we could hope for. In fact, they stepped it up since our first visit, with a canoe and better means to wheel the kayaks/canoe to the nearby beach.
Our family had a fantastic four-night stay, enjoying the beach, Sauble Beach, nearby hikes, and a day trip to Tobermory. Barbecues were fantastic, owing to the fantastic fish and meat stores in Wiarton. It is a pleasure to cook in the property’s kitchen, which has everything you could need for a feast.
Our kids enjoy the bunkbed room, and it is a great place for us all to cozy up to a movie, interrupted only by a campfire under the stars. A great way to end every great day at this property.

We had a great stay! The location was great with only being 10 minutes to sauble, 5 minutes to sauble falls and a nice quiet location near oliphant marina. Leanna and Kevin were fabulous hosts! We had everything we needed during our stay including a welcome bottle of wine upon our arrival!
Everything was well thought out, beds were very comfortable and there was lots of games provided for the kids!
We would definitely stay here again!
