A beautiful mountain getaway with hot tub, large deck, and mountain/lake views!

The good: This is a spacious 3 BR condo. Hardwood floors upstairs, expensive appliances, comfortable beds, nice linens, nice fixtures. Hot tub functioned well. Great view. Location was great. The place was very clean -not quite spotless. Pictures don't do the place justice. The bad: Internet was awful. Bring a hotspot if you want to work from here. Some small maintenance issues such as fridge was hard to shut. The ugly: Communication was HORRIBLE. We booked 5 nights for our trip via VRBO, and when they confirmed, they said the place wasn't available the first night, so they shifted our stay back one night. Well, we were not able to change schedule, so we found another place to stay that first night, and asked to change to 4 nights at this place. We got ZERO response. We tried contacting through VRBO messages and calling the number on the listing. No response. We were starting to wonder if we really had a place to stay or not! It felt like we were getting ghosted. Finally after a text we did get a response to change the date. Then, when it was time to check in, there was no check-in info. We are freaking out again, 9 hours from home and we don't know if we will have a place to stay. No response from phone calls, texts or messages through VRBO. FINALLY they called and said to check in at the front desk at the Stanley Hotel. No way to know it was a Stanley property from the listing. It caused us a lot of stress and kind of ruined our trip.
