About this apartment rental
The Alte Friesenhaus is situated on a spacious 1,400-square-meter lot and offers plenty of room to relax and unwind. In the lovingly landscaped garden, you’ll find a variety of patio furniture, sun loungers, and a beach chair—perfect for quiet moments in the fresh air.
Your private parking spot is located right in front of the house. There’s also a garage for bicycles and a shared washing machine that you’re welcome to use.
The spacious “Unterm Reet” apartment is located on the upper floor of the house and offers plenty of space—about 100 square meters—to feel at home and relax. As soon as you walk in, you’ll sense the bright, friendly atmosphere that permeates the entire apartment. The heart of the apartment is the spacious living and dining area, measuring about 30 square meters, which invites you to cook, eat, and relax together. Here you’ll also find another large double bed, harmoniously tucked away in a cozy nook and ideal for additional guests.
In addition to the living area, the apartment features a cozy entryway with a workspace, perfect for quiet moments, reading, or even occasional work. Two lovingly furnished bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed, ensure restful nights and plenty of space to retreat. All rooms are bright, inviting, and designed with great attention to detail, ensuring nothing stands in the way of a relaxed and restful vacation. Wi-Fi is, of course, available in all rooms.
A private parking space is available on the property, and there’s even a wallbox for electric cars that can be used with an EC card.
The house features a total of three additional apartments: “Scheune,” “Ost,” and “West.” The “Ost” and “West” apartments are particularly well-suited for families or friends traveling together, as they are located across from each other on the first floor and share the same main entrance.
Please note that none of the apartments in the Altes Friesenhaus are rented to tradespeople and/or installation workers.

Various pieces of garden furniture, lounge furniture, sun loungers, and a beach chair are available to guests on the property. There is also a sandbox for younger guests, as well as a ping-pong table.
In total, this former farmhouse—featuring original classic Frisian elements—offers 4 lovingly furnished apartments. All apartments have their own terrace and access to the wonderfully large garden. Parking spaces are located directly on the property.
Morsum has retained its rural character. Within a few minutes on foot or by bike, you can reach the bakery, the Edeka grocery store, or a nice, well-kept restaurant. The mudflats (with beautiful sunsets) are less than a 10-minute walk away. There are horseback riding stables and a golf course in town. The Wadden Sea is only about 1 km away, and the sandy beach on the west side of the island is about 13 km away—easily accessible even by bike.
