RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath offer opportunities for spotting birds and connecting with wildlife, with excellent walks available. For a quieter sandy beach, head to Covehithe, and for great days out, visit Snape Maltings, Framlingham Castle, Eye Castle, Halesworth Museum, Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens and Easton Farm Park.
The vibrant market towns of Bungay and Beccles boast independent boutiques and chain shops and the weekly market is excellent for all things local. At Beccles there is an open air heated outdoor swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers and gateway to the famous Norfolk Broads National Park. A lovely little remote getaway. A little chilly initially, but lovely and cosy once warmed up, and especially once we googled how to set the timer on the heater. Owners lovely, welcoming people, but not intrusive.

A restful & peaceful holiday. Exceptional accommodation & friendly owners. My dog didn't want to leave especially after making friends with Julie, the roving chicken.
