Es una experiencia muy interesante, que quizás se pasa un poco de turística pero al menos puedes estar en contacto con masaais constantemente. Te reciben y despiden genial, el sitio súper chulo

Te tratan muy bien, quizás incluso demasiado en el sentido de que están muuuuy pendientes de ti. Si eres una persona independiente quizás no es para ti, ya que es un lugar para estar haciendo actividades etc. // También el hecho de que se espera que compres cosas o des propinas por cada actividad que inicialmente parece una invitación.

Immersive experience. Naturally they are in the tourism business but do it very well. The village is attached but distinct, allowing the community distance from the razzamatazz. Few enough guests that you feel a part of the community rather than vice versa. We were entertained non stop all evening and all morning, whilst feeling included and welcome. It was school holidays so the school was empty but nonetheless a very impressive enterprise. There are opportunities to donate more but they aren’t heavily pushed. The cultural guides are very knowledgeable and personable. Three miles down a dirt track so suitably remote. Food was excellent. I can’t speak highly enough of the stay. Convenient location for tarangire and manyara. Fit it into your safari itinerary. Better to stay somewhere that helps the community and the educational entertainment makes it well worth the spend.

To stay at Maasai eco boma is a once in a lifetime experience. It allows you to really learn abour maasai culture and also contribute to the school that they run with the proceeds of the hotel. The staff are so welcoming. The food is thoughtfully prepared and very tasty. We loved walking with the maasai around their village. We would 100% recommend to stay.

Die Anlage am Rande eines kleinen Dorfes wird von Maasai geführt. Außergwöhnlich freundliche und fröhliche Menschen haben uns umgeben und umsorgt. Begrüßt wurden wir 4 Männer (waren die einzigen Gäste) von den Dorfbewohnern mit einem traditionellen Maasai Tanz. Die Unterkünfte in den Rundhütten sind bestens ausgestattet, auch mit freiem WLAN (hat manchmal ausgesetzt). Frühstück und Abendessen (Buffet am Lagerfeuer) waren hervorragend. Beeindruckend war der Rundgang im Maasai Dorf und der Besuch der angrenzenden Schule. Aufenthalt unbedingt empfehlenswert und für jedes Alter geeignet.
