This place was a great find. For a similar price to what our friends paid in a tiny hotel room, we got a spacious mezzanine apartment with a lounge and dining area. Surprisingly quiet, expect for the occasional hum of the nearby tube trains. I am very noise-sensitive and those didn't bother me. The 30 second walk to an M&S food hall was an unexpected bonus.
The mattress was a little soft for our liking, but that's a minor quibble. On our second night the upstairs apartment had occupants (must've been empty the first night), and the footsteps etc of the guests returning at 11pm or so were very east to hear even though it was just normal movements. Thankfully that just lasted 10-15 minutes or so as they settled down, but it could've been an issue with more active neighbours.
