K&S Apartment

First and foremost - the host is amazing and welcoming. He shares fresh fruits and shares tips on what to do in the area. House is in a great location - a small village (7 min with car to Sigatoka, around 1h40 from Nadi airport), 2 min walk to the beach, restaurants and shop in the area. Small and quiet. Parking lot is there, there is a new water heater in the shower which helps in the evening. Photos in the offer/description match what you can expect. Price was very fair and relevant for the what the apartment offers. TV with android TV allowing you to use your netflix/disney accounts. All in all - to us the real score here is between 6.5-7 (taking into consideration what we are used to when renting similar apartments in different, tough predominantly european, locations).

Even tough fair in price here are some points that could easily bring the score up. House absolutely needs some deep cleaning. In the non-obvious places - in the wardrobe, behind the tv, in the fridge (mould). Kitchen had to be cleaned before we started to prepare food. I didn't find the courage to check the mattress but I saw some comment about it being bit dated. Drapes would need some cleaning as well. The parts of A/C were put toghether with a duct-tape. All in all this place brought me back to some "dacha" holidays back in the 90 in Poland. It was not the cleanest, but acceptable enough. Outside of that - I highly recommend either changing the towels to differrent ones (they leave debries) or washing them in higher temperature until they stop leaving debries. A/C unit in the kitchen/living room would make a difference as well.

We were looking for a place with a kitchen after being on the islands. The location was perfect for exploring the Coral Coast and there are also great restaurants and hotels that offer day passes to use the swimming pools within walking distance. Bassant was super friendly and helpful and even left fresh papaya and coconut outside our door each day. Highly recommended
