The Olive Hill

Beautiful view, modern rooms and well tended facilities. Pleasant hosts. Location was quiet.

The self catering facilities in the room could be better - if only that there were things like bowls, a grater, a frying pan. All of these were available in the shared kitchen though.

We loved everything about the property. The drive up through the olive groves after the gate opened, the beautiful and clean rooms, the comfortable beds, easy parking, and lovely workers. It was an easy drive to Assos, but nice to return to the quiet of the vineyards and olive groves, with the bay and mountains in the back, at night. The views were world-class, and the communal kitchen, pool, rooftop and outdoor dining were beautiful. We also loved the basketball court and of course, the beautiful church. We would love to come back again.

Quiet location, cleans and modern facilities

The owners at the location were not very friendly. Also, aircondition was not working.

Las habitaciones y la zona común estaban limpias y eran modernas.

La piscina fue la razón principal por la que decidimos alojarnos aquí. Al llegar nos dimos cuenta de que el agua estaba verde, sucia, no se podía ver el fondo muy diferente a como se veía en las fotos. Nos pusimos en contacto con el responsable para encontrar una solución. Su respuesta fue que ese color era debido a aceites solares, cosa que es totalmente falsa porque para llegar a ese punto tiene que haber previamente y de manera reiterada una falta de limpieza diaria. Por lo hablar de que estábamos solos en el alojamiento. No nos dieron ninguna solución y se intentaron limpiar las manos sin aceptar el problema. En las fotos la piscina era de un azul turquesa precioso y nada que ver, en realidad tenía un color verde lechoso. El sitio estaba aislado y lo escogimos por la piscina.
