Petit Est - Eco Cottage in large private garden near Saint-Emilion

The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner upstairs is light, bright and airy. The double bed upstairs is so comfortable - it has at least three mattresses!! Everything was very clean and fully equipped with all you could possibly need. A big bonus is the air conditioning in every room. The host, Rachel, is really friendly and welcoming and a source of local information. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden. There is a lake nearby which is beautiful for walking and the surrounding woods. The area is so quiet and the stars at night are amazing - could see the Milky Way. Plenty of places to visit - St Emillion is less than 30 mins drive, Bordeaux is a beautiful city with plenty to see, is approximately an hour away and would recommend the park and ride (tram).

There is no shop nearby, the nearest supermarket is about a ten minute drive so need to make sure you don’t forget anything before going back to the accommodation. Gnat bites!

Gorgeous Cottage, loved the garden and setting. Clean and well decked out. Lots of little extras to make your stay super comfortable. Lovely bed linen too.

Nothing
