Everything was great

- de heerlijke locatie met in de buurt geitjes waar m'n dochter dol op was - de authenticiteit van het huis, het heeft een ziel van 200 jaar oud - de vriendelijke gastheer Max - het lekkere ontbijt en diner - alles was erg netjes

Eigenlijk niets maar het is goed te weten dat hier een andere soort luxe heerst dan diegene waar sommige misschien naar verlangen, namelijk de prachtige eenvoud van het leven op een kleine boerderij. Hier moet je even zoeken om het afgelegen huis te vinden en moet je een eindje te voet stappen over een keienpad, hier moet je als iets grotere persoon al eens je hoofd bukken bij een lagere deur, hier arriveer je in de geschiedenis en het leven van de familie die dit pand al generaties lang beheert met alles wat daarbij komt kijken.

It was a beautiful rural setting in a family home ran by Max. A 200 year old house full of character & charm. Max could not be more helpful & a wonderful host. With a very large double bed, bunk beds for the children (11 & 13)- we had a restful sleep in comfort. The bathroom was fully equip & a lovely shower was had by all. Mac cooked us a meal & we ate around a large table in the front room which had a huge old fire place. It was rich with history & charm! We felt like family!

I lived it! The walk there was fun- not good if you may be uneasy on your feet but we are all fit & healthy so no problem! There is a longer way or a quicker way (both less than 10 mins), but it’s worth it.

The location is good for visiting the mountains and surrounding villages. Max was helpful in finding horse riding for our 8 year old.

The evening meal which we looked forward to experiencing wasn’t good at all, but we ate it. We stayed in 5 different Agriturismo and breakfast was the worst here. No bread. When I asked for more coffee on day 2, Max just laughed and said he’d already made us enough for 6 people and left. Really not a good way to treat paying guests and it only happened here. Also, he liked to play his music quite loud, which got on our nerves a bit.
