Amazing host , great house for a large group like us to attend a wedding locally

Great rooms , comfortable and clean Perfect for us as we were going to a wedding we all had plenty of space to get ready .

A small point seating was a bit awkward in the lounge for all of us to relax . One more chair would make a big difference. It would have been lovely to have a coffee press and a few more pans for cooking , we managed but for large families cooking for themselves it was a little bit of a struggle .

Great place for a short stay, or longer with fewer people.

Great location as we were going to a wedding at Notley Abbey. Decent sized bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen facilities good for our stay.

Sleeps 8 but not enough room to sit 8 at the table in the kitchen, or in the living room so the only way for us all to gather together was to have some people standing or sitting on the floor. We had to serve dinner in 2 sittings, but that worked ok.

Some minor fixes would make it perfect. Mirror in bedroom, blind cord not working. Weeds as you enter property. Nothing that would stop rebooking

A comfortable, convenient stay. We all enjoyed the house and would definitely return A lucky find.

We loved the house: It was very comfortable, clean and spacious. We all slept really well as it was peaceful and the beds comfortable. We loved that Kat, the host, replied very quickly to any texts we sent including giving us a late check-out when requested which helped us enormously. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. We hadn't realised that there was an en-suite bedroom at the top of the house. Such a lovely surprise and very useful indeed. Parking for a small car under the car port and another one outside house. Pretty back garden with a lovely rose and stawberry plants.

All the rooms had great blackout blinds except for one back bedroom - anyone sleeping there would get woken up very early by the sun streaming through if they hadn't brought a good eye mask. We couldn't find any pedestal bins in the bathrooms/downstairs toilet. The front garden could do with weeding. A lovely house with green space across the road. These are small considerations meant to be helpful. This house was perfect for what we needed. Thank you to Kat.

Clean and tidy. Close to the venue we attended. Plenty of parking. Nice area.

There was 6 of us in the group and only 1 settee so could have done with another chair or 2 in the living room. The en suite shower was cold.

Good decor nice clean lines, warm but a little too hot even when heating was off and windows open. My bed was comfy but other room on top floor with ensuite wasn't as comfy I was told. Easy check in

Not enough seating in living room for amount of people house sleeps. Could do with a larger lamp in lounge for relaxed lighting. Small wasnt bright enough

Very disappointed, that despite regular communication from the owner and assurances she would, she has not returned a small item which we unfortunately left at the property. We booked the property due to the location we required but it is expensive.

Lovely, spacious house in a quiet residential area. The front looked out onto a green with trees and a playground. Everything we needed was provided.

Lovely property, very well managed.

The house was exceptionally clean and really well priced. Communication with the owner was superb, and we were delighted to find the fridge and cupboards stocked with things like tea and coffee, but also condiments, bottles of water, and soft drinks!!

Nothing that we 'didn't like', but it'd be nice if the nearest pub or restaurant was closer, although it's very close to a shop, and Asda is only round the corner.
