Cheap one night stay

It was cheap. Reasonable parking for our motorbikes. Alencon is a pleasant city.

The access arrangements are not straightforward, read the messages carefully. The whole place is old and the decor quite tired/worn. The bedding is fine if you prefer cheap nylon/ polyester. The shower was ok but needs care adjusting and the bathroom has peeling paint and mildew. There was no staff on hand to assist check in/out. Payment by cash or cheque is old school.

A pleasant overnight stay. We enjoyed visiting Alençon

Spacious room in a charming house. Shabby chic. Mathilde was friendly. The parking was in a free car park shared with a dance studio and billiard club, entrance opposite a church. Great location for an easy walk into town and near a good takeaway pizza place, L’Etabli.

Although the actual shower and wash basin were clean, the bathroom had mould on the walls and the door didn’t shut.

If we had a nice time in Alencon, that had nothing to do with this place. Avoid.

The back garden, free off-road car parking and the location, not far from the town centre.

It was not the room we had booked, the kitchen area was very small and not very clean, the bath/shower was in the bedroom, not in an adjoining room and, worst of all, it was impossible to close the bathroom door. It didn't fit into the doorframe and, if you tried to shut it, it would always swing wide open again.

The bedroom was great and very spacious, with wooden flooring and high ceilings. Each bedroom is part of a big house, with a large garden

Cheap but overpriced.

Lots of problems paying which took an hour to resolve. Accommodation isn’t staffed so had to use an unfamiliar payment system which is a worry. Didn’t work and ended up having to pay through PayPal on a non business account. Toilet was broken, the people upstairs woke us up at silly o’clock as there is no insulation between floors and sounded like a clog dance. Our cheese that we had spent €30 on Liverot was stolen from the communal fridge. Bed very substandard and uncomfortable for a hotel. Standard if cleaning falls short to say the least. All in all, not happy.

Chambre nénuphar

Le bain à remous, rien à dire d'autre que top. Musée des beaux arts et de la dentelle proche à ne pas louper. Mon conseil : Mettre à disposition un vrai couteau ( même un petit ferait l'affaire ) et un économe afin de faciliter la cuisine.

J'aurais pensé laisser un très bon avis, mais au final pas tout à fait, tout d'abord la chambre ne possède pas de Vmc et la seule fenêtre disponible a été condamnée, il n'y a donc aucune aération autre que la porte de la chambre, l'air y est donc mauvais et étouffant. Il faut donc faire un choix entre intimité ou air pur. De plus le sol est cassé à plusieurs endroits, cela n'est évidemment pas visible sur les photos. C'est bien dommage car en dehors de cela, la chambre était plutôt sympa. Les deux points noirs de cette chambre pourraient être réglés sans trop de difficulté. Sans cela la note aurait été très bonne.

Logement décevant même si pas catastrophique.

L'emplacement du logement n'est pas en plein centre-ville mais à 5-10min à pied, et dans un quartier calme. La wifi fonctionnait très bien. L'accès et le départ se font de façon complètement autonomes. Hôte réactif !

La photo principale du logement sur booking laisse penser qu'il s'agit d'une belle maison isolée de la rue, alors que c'est une photo prise du jardin. De face, la façade est en mauvais état et donne sur la rue. Notre chambre sentait fort le tabac froid, odeur persistante malgré aération. Il y avait un amas de cheveux qui trainait dans la douche à notre arrivée. La porte de la salle de bain ne fermait pas car la pène de la serrure est cassée. La poignée servant à régler le pommeau de douche est partiellement cassée (il manque la partie métallique pour aider à la tourner, résultat la main mouillée impossible de la régler ! Pratique sous la douche...). La TV n'est pas connectée (pas d'accès à netflix ni chromecast). Le bâtiment est en mauvais état (fissures, peintures qui se décollent, vieilles huisseries dont la porte qui n'isole pas du tout du bruit du couloir qui donnait sur l'entrée, murs qui tremblent lorsque les portes sont claquées...) et la porte de notre chambre qui donnait sur l'entrée est branlante, l'entrée elle-même n'est jamais fermée à clé, donc nous ne nous sentions pas 100 % en sécurité lorsque nous laissions nos affaires en partant le matin pour la journée. Bref, déception.

Très bon séjour

On s'y sent comme à la maison, ce sont les dires de ma fille. Et elle est très critique du haut de ses 6 ans . Très bon séjour dans cet hébergement. Arrivée autonome très apprécié. Chambre chauffée à l'arrivée.

Manque un balai, pour pouvoir nettoyer quand on a fini de manger. Pas de papier toilette. (Un oubli certainement). Sinon RAS. Nous reviendrons.

Je réserverai ailleurs la prochaine fois.

Les instructions reçues suite à la reservation n'étaient pas claires. J'ai reçu un code en etant certifiée que ce dernier m'aiderait à ouvrir le portail, mais ce n'était pas le cas. Une pancarte sur le portail affirmait qu'en cas de problèmes nous pouvions joindre le personnel par téléphone. Encore une fois, ce n'était pas le cas, j'ai du attendre et appeler plusieurs fois. J'ai enfin pu rentrer dans ma chambre, les parties communes sentaient très mauvais. Dans la chambre, seule un des 3 verrous sur la porte fonctionnaient, je ne me suis pas sentie en sécurité pendant la nuit quand les voisins faisaient du bruit jusqu'à tard dans la nuit dans le couloir. Je suis partie tôt le lendemain matin et plus tard j'ai reçu un email du secrétariat me réclamant une note de 10/10 ou 5/5 afin de ne "pas faire baisser leur moyenne", extrêmement présomptueux.

Voor een doorreis was het redelijk. Al zouden wij het niet meer boeken.

Het was erg teleurstellend. De kamer was oud en gehorig. Badkamer was erg slecht, het water liep niet weg. De matrassen lagen niet lekker, het was erg slecht. Er zat een kuil in het midden, je rolde steeds in de kuil. De matrassen zijn echt aan vervanging toe. Het beddengoed was ook niet passend om het matras, schoot steeds los.

Il n'y a que 2 tables a l'extérieur, c'est insuffisant. Le matelas du lit est trop inconfortable, ainsi que les vieux oreillers hélas, le linge de lit est vieillot également .Le plancher au sol craque beaucoup, ce qui est très gênant et désagréable. C'est vieux dans l'ensemble d'ailleurs. Une rénovation aurait été plaisante et s'impose

La situation, une belle maison, le petit jardin.

5 chaises pour. un gîte 6 personnes, lampe de chevet non fonctionnelle (prise électrique cassée), lavabo bouché, poussière sous les lits, la vaisselle doit être faite ( normal) mais pas d'eponge, pas de torchon, pas de produit vaisselle.... Si tout cela est remis en ordre, ce gîte sera très bien !

Le lieu est correct, de même pour les équipements. Cependant l’hygiène est à revoir dans la chambre Nénuphar.

Le manque d’hygiène, notre séjour a été perturbé par la présence de nombreux insectes ( cafards, fourmis, araignées, mil pâtes ) . Sur les deux chambres que nous avions réservé. Nous avons séjourné uniquement dans une seule. La chambre « Bouquet de rose » était correcte, cependant la chambre « Nénuphar » était invivable. La forte présence d’insectes de toutes sortes, araignées, fourmis, mil pâtes, cafard à gâché notre séjour, nous n’avons pas y séjourné.

Chambre bien située, près des commodités. Pas de service de petit déjeuner, mais possibilité de réchauffer. Documents d'information dans la chambre, sur les commerces de proximité.

Pas de serpillière dans la salle de bains pour laisser la pièce en état impeccable pour le les utilisateurs suivants. Absence d'une petite poubelle dans la salle de bains (voir dans le placard sous le premier lavabo). Dommage qu'il n'y ait que des cafetières à dosettes et pas à café moulu.

De ruimte en de tuin.

Het was zeer smerig. De vloer was niet schoon. De tafel ronduit smerig. Weinig aangeraakt.Hoop dat het beddengoed schoon was. Op de wastafel lag nog een gebruikt watenstaafje. Douche ziet er geweldig uit, maar de knoppen zijn bijna niet te draaien, mijn man stond onder een gloeiend hete waterval.
