Very nicely located in a quiet area, but central to everything. The home was neat and clean, but comfortable and homey, and the the floor plan was perfectly laid-out for 2 singles to have togetherness AND privacy. Plenty of towels and paper goods, which are often lacking in rentals.
The frame on the master bed is over-sized and a bit hard to navigate without bruising in the middle of the night.

The space had everything we needed. The furniture, beds and blankets were comfy and fresh - like we were the first to use them. It was too cold to use the back deck except for grilling which we did, and we enjoyed. We loved the view and the sunrises.
It was too expensive. The total cost for 3 nights was as high as NYC or a ski lodge in VT. It was a lovely spot and more than met our needs for Thanksgiving, but at the end of the day, it’s on a back road in a simple house in the CT countryside with very little to do nearby. We would love to return but the cost would have us consider elsewhere.

The property was larger than anticipated. Perfect for a couple. The toiletries and kitchen items were well stocked and nice quality. The area outside was private and quiet...with a nice deck that had a great view!
I used to live in the area so it was a nice place to stay in a familiar area. Close to many hiking trails, Bantam Lake was around the corner, as well as many restaurants.
