Sentralt fint og ryddig

A lovely cosy cabin, perfect for our needs. It's a fairly short walk into two, and is situated about midway between the two ski areas in Geilo. There's a well-stocked Spar nearby too. The cabin is very well equipped and all to a good standard. It's got pretty much all cooking equipment you could need, and plenty of space to hang damp gear etc. Heating works excellently, plenty of hot water for the shower, and nice comfy beds.

All good really! Just for information for other groups, I would say that we were a group of 6 adults, and I think that had we been any larger it would been a bit tight (the bunk bed room would be very tight for 4 adults - fine for kids though of course!).

Access to the cabin was packed by snow that has been there for months. Also cleaning is the tenant’s responsibility and it must be left ready for the next guest, even toilet paper, which is only stated after booking, giving the impression that the owners do not check the property. There was no ladder or safety rail for the very high bunk beds. We had booked the entire cabin so needed all the sleeping spaces ready. As there is a wood stove, some firewood should be provided or guests should be informed to bring their own. Dirty upper mattresses in one of the rooms The dining table seats six, plus two on folding chairs. We did not rate cleanliness, as it depends on the guests rather than the hosts.
