The property was exactly as listed. Plenty of gathering spaces and room for all. We loved the covered front porch with propane firepit and plenty of cozy chairs for the rainy days. Very nice hot tub and firepit for star gazing. The lake is extremely clear, we found a nice sandy beach and caught lots of fish. Many great memories were made here. Kim is an extremely proactive and friendly host.

We stayed here last year for the same weekend and were expecting the same wonderful experience. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill. All are fixable problems but should be addressed.
First, there were two parakeets in a cage when we arrived. This was not in the listing, and three of our group members have a bird phobia. The owners did remove the birds after our request. Secondly, the owners stayed next door and used the dock while some members of our group were also using it. Not a big deal, but it was a little awkward. Finally, the overall place could use a deep clean.
On a positive note, the owners were very kind, and the place is spread out in a very comfortable and relaxing manner. It was perfect for our mother/daughter trip!

We had a fantastic week on Six Lake at our host's property. Excellent location where we had family meals, made smores at the fireplace, visited into the moonlit night, caught dozens of fish from the dock, kayaked and swam in a beautiful lake, watched birds - 22 different species in the area. This exceeded our expectations!

Upon arrival, there was a big pile of the last guests’ garbage in the driveway. It made the front of the house smell and brought a ton of flies. At some point in our stay, an animal got into the garbage and it ended up scattered around the front yard. The front door was broken and we were given the wrong code to the front door. There were birds in cages at the property that we were not told about. They didn’t bother me much, but would have been nice to know about beforehand. The hot tub was nice, but it was dirty- had floating dirt and leaves and a musty smell. The dishwasher did not work also, but she told us about that upon our arrival. The host stopped by to feed the birds at one point. The host was communicative and kind during our stay which is why we gave 3 stars. We felt like they were maybe a little unprepared for us. The property overall was nice and in a great location- would have given 5 stars if we felt they were more prepared for our arrival.
