About this bed and breakfast

Historic Downtown 2nd floor location fully remodeled apartment with historic touches. Complete kitchen, make your lunch in your suite. WiFi, Smart Tv, Air, Toaster, Microwave, Snacks and Water. Located next door to Historic Opera House and within walking stance of shops eateries, pubs. Outdoor Store located on main level owner managed. Managers are a text away and 5 minutes to meet your emergency needs.

Such a great place to stay. We had a lot of room, and it's in downtown so we could walk to restaurants and shops. Plus we had a very tasty breakfast! We will plan to use Goldfinch Suites in the future!!

Came to Elkader for a quiet stay, not disappointed. Katherine and Michael were excellent hosts, unit 1 exceptionally clean and cozy. Hotel quality linens, modern unit with homey touches. Loved Michael’s breakfast in the morning. Ate dinner at St. Olaf Tavern, would recommend, short drive from Elkader. One block to Turkey River, nice areas to sit along the river. Elkader has other good restaurant options right in town.
