Αgora Center Building - Room 16

The position is superlative and couldn't be better, three minutes from the pier and just above the bus stop. The room 16 was spacious enough, clean, nicely decorated; it is placed at a first floor and it is double aspect, with a balcony overlooking the harbour. Even so, the room was incredibly quiet at all times, ideal for resting at night and morning too; particular attention is taken so that guests as well keep the silence night-time, and I especially appreciated this. I found it very reasonably priced for what it offers. The owner was welcoming and responsive.

The toilet is really minuscule and no shampoo/shower gel was provided. The room is exposed to the sun the whole day, so you need to use the aircon, but this is placed right on top of the bed, not so good when you rest or sleep. The balcony is accessible from other rooms as well so you might want to keep it closed when you are out. I didn't need to, but you are not supposed to introduce visitors, even though the property was listed as "entire apartment", this for me was a bit odd.

Recently fully renovated corner room, well styled, comfortable, thoughtful fit out with useful cupboards, kitchen items, coffee maker, good fridge, ceiling fan, fly screen and air con. Beautifully titled bathroom with quality, fixtures. An open suitcase can slide under bed. Stylish attention to decorative detail in room and stairway. Welcoming host.

They have done wonders with the bathroom renovation but it's a one person at a time space. Would like to see the local designers get together with supermarkets to provide an inexpensive reusable fabric carry bag as an option to plastic. 'We love Ios so much ... we reuse and recycle!'
