Joya Apartment's - Milazzo

We had a pleasant stay in this modern apartment. Having an elevator is definitely a big plus, especially for guests with large or heavy luggage, as the apartments are located on the first floor. The apartment also has a spacious balcony facing the port, which offers a nice view. The kitchen is small but functional and has everything needed to prepare simple meals. All of the appliances worked well during our stay. It comes with basic cooking utensils and cutlery, although we did miss having a proper kitchen knife. Overall, it was sufficient for our needs.

There are just a few things that future guests should be aware of. The balcony could have been a bit cleaner, although I understand that it faces the port directly, so it probably gets dusty and dirty quite quickly. At night, there is noticeable noise from the port due to the ferry traffic. If you’re a light sleeper, it’s best to keep the windows closed. Parking can be a bit challenging, especially during the busy summer season. There is a parking garage directly across from the building, but it costs €15 per day. Alternatively, you can try to find free parking near the gas station, although it wasn’t easy for us to find an available space there in July. Also, the city tax during the summer season is €1.00 per person per night. Booking.com still showed €0.80, which only applies during the winter season, so it would be helpful if this information were updated to avoid confusion.

Ottima struttura e proprietario gentile e molto disponibile

Modernes, großes Appartement mit tollem Blick auf den Hafen. Sehr angenehmes Raumgefühl, vor allem im Bad. Nicht allzu weit von den interessanten Spots entfernt. Absolute Verdunklung möglich. Interessant, der Fähre beim Verladen zuzuschauen.

Wie in vielen sizilianischen Apartments fehlen leider Basics zum kochen: Etwas Öl, Gewürze, Spülmittel und Geschirrtücher.

La posizione è sicuramente il punto di forza della struttura. Si trova proprio di fronte al porto, con il lungomare raggiungibile in pochi passi. Anche i ristoranti, i bar e i locali sono tutti molto vicini, quindi è una soluzione comoda per visitare Milazzo senza dover usare l’auto.

L’aria condizionata nell’appartamento iniziale non funzionava, ma il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile, facendoci spostare subito in un altro appartamento. La pulizia, invece, potrebbe essere migliorata, perché non era impeccabile.
