PORT CITY HAIFA - Authentic German Colony Apartments

The location is perfect, the house is convient and you can always park your car if you're renting one. The hot water, utilities etc are great. But its worth looking at the things 'I didn't like'.

The house is perfect for a family, however we've booked for 4 people we only found the towels for 4 people, the 4th person there was no duvet cover or coach bed covers to sleep comfortably. We had to sort it in our own way. Becareful of the dryer, putting clothes for a long time can burn your towels, underwears and shirts! You have to figure out settings of the dryer and washer everything is in hebrew. You have to buy water bottles from any close supermarket (am:pm is close) and keep in the fridge. I don't recommend drinking tap water in Haifa. The host refused to refund the extra 1 day we booked by mistake with no compensation. Make sure you ONLY book the days of your stay.

My parents, my friend and I had a lovely stay at Port City during our pilgrimage. We were well helped when we had questions. The facilities were just like home.

At the last days we had some issues with our next door neighbour. We were leaving the appartement one day at 7:30ish, hè asked us two times to keep it quiet. We apologised and we were quiet the next days. At our last night we were talking inside the apartment between (22 -23 hours) and then this neighbour knocked at our door asking us to quiet once again. The situation at morning I can totally understand but the fact that we even couldn’t talk inside the appartement was a bit annoying. That was the only bad thing but maybe the people next to us were more sensitive to sounds than the regular or maybe they had children, which in that case we would have totally understand. It is still a nice place to stay.
