I honestly don’t understand how this hotel has such high ratings. My experience was disappointing.
The location is nothing special, and I found it a little inconvenient for getting around quickly. The stairs are steep, and I had to carry my suitcases up and down by myself. The staff were reasonably friendly, but the room was in very poor condition: much older and more run-down than it appears in the photos.
The bedding wasn’t clean, and the sheet even had holes in it. There was also a lot of dust everywhere, which was a real problem for me as someone with allergies.
The water heater stopped working, leaving me without hot water for more than a day before it was repaired. The bathroom overall looked poorly maintained. The Wi-Fi was so bad that I had to use my phone’s mobile data.
Based on my stay, the photos and high ratings did not reflect the actual condition of the hotel.

Words cannot express how beautiful my experience was at Nexus House - Cay Diep. From the moment I booked my stay until the day I left, I was treated with exceptional kindness and care.
The receptionists, Jay and Chau, were absolutely spectacular! They went above and beyond in ways I could never have imagined. Before my arrival, they reached out to confirm everything and made sure I had all the information I needed. When we arrived, Jay greeted us warmly and even helped us carry our bags upstairs. His customer service was impeccable. Having Jay and Chau at the front desk alone makes this hotel deserving of a 5-star rating!
I initially booked the Superior Studio with a king bed, and it was a lovely room. It had a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and stovetop, which was perfect if you wanted to prepare something to eat. Everything was very clean, and the room had all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. I later upgraded to the Premier Studio with Balcony, and I absolutely loved it. It provided all the space I needed and truly made me feel at home. I highly recommend the Premier Studio with Balcony.
The location is also fantastic. There are many great restaurants nearby, and several 7-Eleven and minimart stores are within walking distance.
Nexus House is a true hidden gem. This boutique hotel was everything I could have asked for, and it should not be overlooked. From the beautiful accommodations to the incredible hospitality, you will be treated with the utmost kindness and respect.
I will never forget my time at Nexus House, and I will definitely return. The memories I made during my stay will stay with me forever.
Thank you, Nexus House, for providing the best 5-star customer service a person could ask for. You truly made my stay unforgettable!!!
