Cheap and nice café

Wasn’t close to a good beach and also mold in the ceiling

The room was spacious and clean, with good air conditioning. The bed was a little firmer than I’m used to, but I actually slept very well. The reception is not staffed, but the owner is available via WhatsApp throughout the day and responds quickly to any questions or concerns. She was very friendly and helpful. The room doesn’t have a safe, but I was provided with a padlock for the wardrobe, so I could lock my belongings away. There is also a café belonging to the hostel upstairs, where you can get some good food. I would recommend not leaving food in the room, as it can attract ants. The area is also very quiet at night. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hostel.

The only downside for me was the location. The sea is right in front of the hostel, but unfortunately the beach is currently covered with a lot of rubbish, so it’s not really inviting for swimming. What a shame! The hostel is also a little away from the main tourist area. You can get to the busier parts quite quickly by motorbike, but if you want to be within walking distance of a lot of shops and the main tourist spots, this might not be the best location for you. On the other hand, there are a few small shops and a small supermarket within walking distance, as well as some nice local restaurants.

Nice place to stay. I was offered a bigger room on arrival which was great. Owner was very helpful and helped me arrange a tour.

Beach near the place is non existent. It is just a concrete pavement where you can walk or run.

The room was drab, luckily the beach was nearby. The hotel had no garden, only a walkway around the house. The restaurant was more expensive than in the surrounding area.

The staff didn't speak English. Every time I asked for the room to be cleaned, they started thanking me, pretending to understand that I didn't want it cleaned. So I cleaned it myself. I had to ask also for water in the room myself.
