I Hostel Muine - A Little White Homestay By The Sea

We were given the downstairs room on the side facing the sea so we had a lovely view through the plants to the sea! The room was massive and very comfortable, with good WiFi and hot showers. We ate breakfast here everyday and often lunch too, and the rooftop café is one of the best in the area. The smoothie bowls and pancakes are delicious and the views are amazing. You can walk directly to the sea front from the property which is so nice. There is no beach, but you can swim there. The staff were so friendly, always smiling and happy to help. We loved it here!

This lovely homestay is tucked away from the main road, so thankfully it isn’t affected by the road construction nearby. I was upgraded to a family room, which felt incredibly spacious for a solo traveler :) The room was very clean, had a nice garden view, and the facilities were simple but sufficient. There’s also a small café on the third floor with a beautiful sea view. The lady owner is a sweet person. The homestay is within walking distance of the sea, and a stroll along the embankment road will take you to nearby beach bars. Some of the nearby beaches are ok for swimming. Overall, I had great experiences here and would love to come back again.

- very good location - so pretty - on the beach - near marts - wonderful staff - it felt like i was in greece - the owner was so nice and helped us book bus tickets and anything else we would need !

- the beach it’s on is not nice at all you have to walk a bit and then the resorts won’t let you sit on the beach which is so annoying just keep that in mind

The room was drab, luckily the beach was nearby. The hotel had no garden, only a walkway around the house. The restaurant was more expensive than in the surrounding area.

The staff didn't speak English. Every time I asked for the room to be cleaned, they started thanking me, pretending to understand that I didn't want it cleaned. So I cleaned it myself. I had to ask also for water in the room myself.
