Castle View Saschiz - Traditional Guesthouse

El estilo, la comodidad y la simpatía y dedicación del gerente

Estuvo todo muy bien

I slept like a rock! I think was the vibe, the fresh air, the village silence and slow life country style tempo…Rebuilding the property and keeping the initial architecture -great ideea! Stuff very friendly and helpful!

Location, host

Very authentic house with some renovations. Amazing view on the fortress located at the top of a mountain from the yard as stated in the guesthouse name. Very lovely hosts Hans and his mother, felt very welcome.

Unfortunately, our room had a lot of spiders and cobwebs. Most of the cobwebs were in the ceiling corners and inside/around the heater. My wife has had arachnophobia since childhood, so she was initially completely frozen and extremely nervous. She was afraid to sleep in the house and we were contemplating for some time to move somewhere else. I had to clean the room myself late in the evening using toilet paper and kill around 6–7 spiders, some of them quite large. This could have been easily avoided with more thorough cleaning. The cobwebs could have been removed in just a few minutes with a vacuum cleaner. It would also be helpful to install window net screens to prevent spiders from getting into the room.
