Riad Azad and Spa is just on the edge of the old town in Marrakech. You are close enough to walk everywhere but it's in a quieter area. I felt very safe walking around, but you do need to watch out for motorcycles driving through the small streets. Riad Azad is just beautiful. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. We booked a room that had a private outdoor area and it was so pleasant to sit out there in the mornings and evenings. I booked a taxi through the riad that not only drove me there, but walked me to the door. That was so helpful. We were greeted upon arrival with mint tea and cookies. Everyone was so friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

The price didn't include breakfast. Because of that, we went out for breakfast every morning. I wish it would have been included in the price.

The riad has stunning decoration! Really nice location, short walk from Jemaa el Fnaa. Room felt clean and was also cool which was nice as we stayed in the summer. Breakfast was fantastic!

Very beautiful Riad, has its own charm and the room was good.

My wife and I utilized the spa and requested the Hammam with the massage. I must say I’m very disappointed in it and would not recommend to anyone to get it. The hammam wasn’t hot enough, towards the end of the bath the water was cold. The effort in the scrub down seemed to be very little. My masseur didn’t seem to know what she was doing and was learning as she was going from the other masseur that was attending to my wife. One of the ladies had the relaxing music on her phone, and several times throughout the massage it would loudly get interrupted by a loud commentator for a football match on their phone while massaging us! When all this was done they pressured me to leave a tip stating that the front desk doesn’t pay them tips. I shared my frustration next morning with the person working the front while I was paying him. He didn’t seem to really care and didn’t offer any compensation. I was also 30 minutes late for breakfast and he said it’s too late.
