Gorgeous lakeside setting with room and onsen overlooking the water. It was lovely and quiet being there at the end of the day when the sun was going down and the crowds had left. Staff all round were friendly and professional. The Italian dinner was unexpected but delicious with the best service we’ve had on our holiday. The chefs and team know what they are doing! Breakfast was tasty too.

The hotel has a gorgeous view of the lake and its surroundings. Food was very good with some Italian food style mixed to the locally sourced vegetables and meat. Definitely it falls into the category of gourmet food with excellent presentation . Staff were very nice.
The ofurô outside could be renovated a bit. It was rather rustic.

This place is just wonderful and it exceeded our expectations in all areas. The Onsen is gorgeous and we also had one in our room, which was fabulous. The Italian dinner was exceptional. All of us--3 adults--agreed, that we would stay here again. The town is quaint and the lake an mountains are spectacular.
I am not fond of a Japanese Breakfast, although appreciated the authenticy.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. The dinner is not good. The breakfast is very bad, both my wife and I are headache after eating breakfast.
The onsen room looks terrible and stopped us to go inside. The towers too small.
