About this villa rental

The accommodation at Casa Kathleen is all on one level and consists of a spacious lounge, separate dining room with seating for six, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge/ freezer, Microwave and Dishwasher. Two of the three Bedrooms have Air conditioning and the third has a ceiling fan. The master bedroom has a double bed and enjoys stunning sea views, it has a large en–suite bathroom with bath and shower over which has recently been replaced (2022). The second and third bedrooms have two twin beds each with ample wardrobe space. The house bathroom has shower, WC and sink and was also replaced in 2022.

The South facing Villa's terrace has ample sunbathing areas with stunning sea views, a six seater table for alfresco dining, shower cubicle with hot and cold supply and BBQ area. The villa has a private 8m x 4m pool which is professionally maintained weekly and enjoys delightful sea views. There are extensive gardens around the villa and covered parking for two cars.

The lounge has a 50" smart TV with UK freesat TV plus Spanish channels along with Netflix & Amazon Prime Video. Wireless internet access is provided (20Mb speed). A pool fence is available on request ensure the pool is safe when staying with small children and a high chair & cot is also available.

The property is located between Alicante and Valencia with both airports being only a little over an hour's drive away. There is a restaurant and a bar within the Monte Pego urbanisation and several other good places to eat and drink just a short drive away. There are plenty of things to do close by with the towns of Denia, Javea, Oliva and Pego which are only a short drive away. The closet beach is a 10 minute drive away. A car is essential.

The rental rates are fully inclusive and include internet, Air-Con, laundry, towels and cleaning at the end of your stay.

Full directions are provided for guest arrival and coordinates to find the villa. We use a local management company so there is a contact for any queries, questions or problems you have during your stay. A meet and greet service is in place for check in and check out (check ins after 10pm incur a 25€ local charge).

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Kathleen. The photos on Vrbo don’t do the property justice it is even more beautiful in real life. The villa, was immaculately clean, the decor was beautiful, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would find in your own home. The pool was fabulous, it was a pleasure to sit on the terrace and look out at the views. The property manager was extremely helpful, checking that we were ok and gave us great information on places to go. I hope that we will be able to use the villa again next year.

My wife an I stayed for 8 nights and the only negative was that we had to leave!Tracie, who manages the property was absolutely wonderful with lots of helpful advice throughout our stay and a pleasure to chat with.Hope to be back again soon and would definitely stay here again. 5 Stars!

Our group, consisting of three people, moved into Casa Kathleen for just under a week. The view of the Mediterranean is a dream.It is necessary to have a car to visit the beach or one of the many villages. You will find one or more places for all activities such as hiking, culture and culinary delights in the immediate vicinity.This vacation was one that rekindled my desire to travel.

We had a lovely week at Casa Kathleen. The view is fabulous, as is the outside terrace and pool. The villa' s living area is large, comfortable and airy. Everything worked and was well maintained. The villa is located close to beaches, shopping and Denia but you will need a car! We'll definitely return.

We had an amazing stay here in monte pego. I would like to thank the host for their flexibility regarding late checking. Plus the host was very friendly and welcoming. The house has everything you need. Wish we could stay longer. I would love to come back with my family.

Just returned from a relaxing 11 days at this fabulous villa located on the Denia side of Monte Pego. Clean, modern and has everything you require for a great holiday. Spectacular views from the large terraced which accommodates a good sized pool, BBQ and seating area to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. Fully recommend this villa for a great holiday location.

A very enjoyable holiday. Peaceful, great views out to coast. Villa modern, comfortable and we'll equipped. Manager Tracie very friendly and helpful with plenty of local tips for getting about and eating out. Beaches close by with lovely sands and within easy reach of Denia, Javea, Oliva as well as Valencia and Benidorm although these are easier to go to by train. Highly recommended.

We had a phenomenal vacation in a fantastic Villa. We felt very comfortable all the time and the Villa has all needs for enjoying everything for relaxing at any single moment. The real impression of the house is minimum so perfect as the pictures and descriptions say - even better by the spectacular view from the terrace. Everything was fantastic from the first contact to Andrew, a lovely introduction contact with Tracie and a perfect area in and around the Villa. We will return.

The villa is very clean and modern. Andrew the owner and Tracie who manages the property are both very helpful and flexible when I had to change flight times due to Easyjet cancelling. The villa is equipped with everything you need rather than just the bare minimum. There is a good variety of furniture on the terrace and the pool has a lovely view. I really can't fault the way it's run. Sadly for us we had noisy neighbours during our stay, but hopefully that's a one off. A car is a must for this location as you are up a fairly steep windy road, but the views are well worth it. We would stay here again if we was coming back to Denia.

Excellent property with a fantastic view. All was as expected: clean a quite well equipped. Living/dinning room area and swimming pool were particularly cozy and comfortable. The living room A/C was not working but the owner and management company organized the installation of a complete new one just in time for the hot days. Car is a must for this location. The area is one of the best in Spain for beaches, particularly if you like to go early in the morning. Beaches do not get really busy before noon. We were in July. Also important to be early in order to find a parking spot closer to the sea.

We had a wonderful week at Casa Kathleen that went far too quickly. The villa has everything you could ask for and more. It fully lived up to the description online. The view over the mountains, the rice fields and the sea in the horizon is amazing. Before the holiday we were in contact with the owner via email. He quickly replied to our messages and was very friendly and helpful. We were met by the management company on arrival who showed us around and handed over the keys, they were very friendly and professional. There was also a generous welcome package waiting for us so we could enjoy the view on the terrace with a glass of wine the first evening, even though we arrived late - a great start of the holiday!

Having stayed in many villas over the years, in many places around Europe, this is one of the best. The villa was immaculate and the facilities available in the property were excellent. Everything we could need to make the stay great was there. Very peaceful relaxing week, I would never get tired of the view from the terrace. If you are looking for a place to get away and relax in the Marina Alta area of Spain then this place is a must. It’s in a great location for exploring the area and only an hour from Valencia, which is definitely worth a visit. I can’t recommend this villa highly enough.

Right from the start Andrew was quick with response so you had no worries at all, even email us when we got back about the refundable deposit.The villa has everything you need well equip kitchen comfortable lounge and clean through out. You do need a car to get out and about.The views from the patio are breathtaking. Pool was cold when you first get in but soon as you were in you didn’t, notice it.The only one fault we had was the ladder entering and exiting into the pool was in the deep end and having a non swimmer with us was a bit daunting to them.Overall good area to explore and to do some bird watching in a week 108 different species. Thank you Andrew for letting us rent your villa we would recommend your villa to who ever loves peace quiet and stunning views and a relaxing holiday. Stayed June 8th - 15th 2019

Casa Kathleen was all that we’d hoped for and more! We received a very warm welcome from the property management team, including a generous welcome pack. The villa is beautifully presented & well- equipped; the pool area is a delightful space to enjoy the sun & the incredible views over rice fields to the sea, & the BBQ is ideal for outdoor dining in style! We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. The villa itself wanted for nothing and the views are absolutely stunning, day and night. Andrew the owner was very quick to respond to any questions before and following our booking and Liz the villa manager was very helpful to us on arrival and gave us lots of tips for places to go. It is certainly a villa we would be happy to book again and would be happy to recommend to others.

We have just returned from a lovely holiday staying at Casa Kathleen. The villa is very clean, comfortable and equipped with just about everything you need. Lovely pool and terrace area with fantastic views overlooking the coast. Andrew, the owner, is very helpful and responds very quickly to any queries, as was Liz, who manages the property in Spain. We had a couple of questions whilst we were staying here and she was very helpful. We spent some time relaxing at the villa and also visited nearby coastal towns and marinas, as well as a trip into the mountains. Our favourite place was Denia with its beautiful Marina and many bars and restaurants to choose from. Overall couldn't fault this villa. Comfortable beds, spacious lounge, well equipped kitchen, use of washing machine, outdoor BBQ, sun loungers, outdoor table and chairs all topped off with fabulous October sunshine. Would highly recommend!

The villa is great, equipped with everything we needed. Pool was warm & well maintained. Liz the local property manager was lovely, quick to respond to queries & really helpful. Swiss restaurant on Monte Pego is really nice but gets busy so it's worth booking in advance for the weekend. Plenty to do nearby & good supermarket only 10 mins away.

Found the villa without any problems from the instructions given by Andrew the owner.. Arrived late at night so went straight to bed. Awoke to beautiful sunshine the next morning and discovered a very well presented and equiped villa with lovely views. We met Liz and Jasmin who provided us with useful information for getting around the area. We went to Carrefour which was only a short distance away to stock up with food for the week. Plenty of BBQ food and salad. The villa provided all we needed with a fully equiped kitchen, microwave, oven, freezer etc and spacious living area with computer, tv and DVD player. Outdoors the area is very private and not really over looked by any other villa. The pool was cold at first but was a welcome relief as it was so hot. We went into Denia one night for a meal at Republic (as recommended by Andrew)with a table over loking the harbour. Meal was lovely and reasonably priced however the taxi cost over £60 there and back.. Sun beds at the villa were very comfortable and the terrace /patio area provided the sun all day along through till about 9pm. Table and chairs in a more shaded area were nice for meal times. Had a very relaxing and chilled week away with all expectations being met. This is an excellent villa to unwind and spend quality time together. Would definitely recommend this villa and we hope to return in the future.

The location of the villa is absolutely perfect for a quite family holiday but with all the convenience of having Alicante, benidorm and Valencia all within an an hour to an hour and a half drive. There is everything you need in the villa. The views are outstanding, the pool is amazing. We spent a lot if the day out and about as there is so much to do in the area. But spending the evening sat pool side with a bottle or two of local wine is the perfect way to end every day!

Very nice and spacious. Could not access the washing machine [no key]. We would of like to of washed our beach towels. The location was not good for us. We like to wonder around but the hilly area prevented this. We had to use the hire car all the time. There were only two restaurants [only one open] on the complex...but again you had to drive UP to it. The owner made us smile as he told us he wanted to shut up when we were asking for another drink.... 10.45pm!

We stayed for 12 nights in March. The villa is lovely, very neat, tidy and comfy. As the weather was cooler, we used the log burner most nights and it was great. It was also nice to have access to lots of TV channels, along with the DVD player (take your own DVDs) The villa has an amazing view, and in a lovely setting. The villas and area round about are all well maintained. The pool looked lovely but was too cool for us to use in March. It was nice to find basics already in place, such as dishwasher, cleaning items, salt and pepper etc. Little things but they do help. The owner Andrew was so helpful throughout our initial queries, booking and afterwards, and Liz who greeted us and is on hand, was also exceptionally helpful. The villa is in a great location for visiting other places along the coast. Its placed midway between to great wee towns for getting groceries etc and restaurants, only 10 mins to both towns. We also visited Denia 15 mins drive, Javea, Moraira, all lovely places to visit. We even went to to Benidorm for a visit. Overall this is a great property in a great location.

From arriving in Monte Pego and been greeted by Liz the property manager we felt very welcomed. Liz was helpful and very informative for local places to eat and drink etc and went out of her way to show us the best hot spots. If you want a place with a view and a great pool, this is for you. It is stunning. Very well maintained and clean with a brilliant pool which is maintained by Phil.....another nice chap. The villa is very spacious and light, with all of the gadgets you will need, great WIFI, a sat nav to use with places all ready programmed in and a bluetooth speaker for music. Local amenities are only a short drive away in Pego or El Verger and if you love markets, there is on just a few miles away on a Sunday. In Pego there is a restaurant called the Casino Bar which is superb. I would recommend this villa for anyone who loves peace a quiet, and stunning views and an owner who has thought of everything you may need.
