A casa del nonno Jack

Het gebouw ligt direct aan de boulevard met de ingang in het straatje erachter. Wij hadden een appartement aan de achtkant op de derde etage, bereikbaar met de lift. Er is een balkon aan de straatkant voor het drogen van kleding en een zitje in de patio, waar de zon ‘s ochtends staat en je heerlijk kunt ontbijten. Perfecte locatie voor een dagje strand en een dagje Taormina. De bushalte is amper 3 minuten lopen. Het appartement is meer dan compleet: wasmachine, koffiezetapparaat, waterkoker, oven, strijkijzer, strijkplank, strandstoelen, parasol, strandlakens, paraplu. (Let op dat je bijvoorbeeld de oven en de wasmachine niet tegelijk gebruikt, want dan valt de stroom uit.) Het pand ernaast wordt op dit moment herbouwd/gerenoveerd. Wij hebben daar geen overlast van ervaren.

The property is literally in front of of the beach. It is nice and cozy. The owners are available and kind and offer a free umbrella and 2 seats for going to the beach that is right in front. I also accidentally broke a small thing inside the house and the owner was really understanding. Overall, highly recommended, I’ll go back.

There was some stains in the bedsheets and some hair as well I took out the pillows that were did not look clean because I could not be bothered asking to change them. But I am sure it would have not been an issue if I had asked to change. For the future, given price/value ratio I would suggest to pay greater attention to this details.

Beautiful and cozy flat with everything you will need during the stay. Calm area to live. Very friendly and helpful host, he helped us to find a parking spot and not to pay for parking. Flat is very near to the beach, there is also chairs and beach umbrella that you can use going to the beach.
