Maleeya garden guest house

A lovely woman runs the place; she was very welcoming, even gave me food from the barbecue when i arrived :)

Es limpio, el aire acondicionado funciona muy bien. Tiene un pequeño refrigerador. La dueña es muy amable, dejó huevitos duros para el desayuno y otras cosas. También una botella gigante de agua. Tiene calentador de agua para hacerte té o café. La ubicación me gusto mucho porque era caminando hacia la playa y a la vez muy silencioso.

Me costó un poquito llegar según las indicaciones del mapa, pero es muy simple

Jungle-beach-city life, all combined. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is AC, hot shower, kettle and a small refrigerator. There are several supermarkets nearby including Macro. The lady that manages the guesthouse was very nice and caring person. She informed me about the places to go. She even gave me ride to Kae Bei and Khlong Phlu waterfall for a reasonable price and provided ointments for my wounds upon the last day small accident. I am looking forward to coming during a better season again.

For the price of the rooms during my stay, I can't say I didn't like anything. It was low-season due to rains. The price will probably go up during regular seasons so my evaluation for "value for price" may not reflect the value at that time. And the beach was not very clean due to waves bringing dirt. I mostly walked up to very northern part of the sandy beach to swim during windy days. Be careful about the rip currents in this season as well. This guesthouse was my third place in Koh Chang and I selected to extend my stay here to one week since I think White Sand Beach was better choice for long-term guests since there are lots of supermarkets and easier transportation to other parts of the island. Sometimes I thought if it would be nicer if there were a small kitchen-like area outside in the garden for the long-term guests who are not very street-food fan though. It would provide socialization with other guests in other rooms as well.
