Puumajamajoitus maaseudulla

Puumaja oli tunnelmaltaan ja sijainniltaan erittäin viihtyisä. Se sijaitsi talousrakennukselta noin 200 metrin päässä peltojen keskellä olevassa metsäsaarekkeessa, piilossa majoituksen järjestäjiltä ja muilta mahdollisilta ohikulkijoilta. Valaistus oli hieno ja säädettävissä oman mieltymyksen mukaan, ja majan sisällä oli raikas puun tuoksu. Lisäksi oli kiva, että majalle oli jätetty pientä purtavaa ja tekemistä majoittujia varten. Puumajan läheisyydestä löytyi siistissä kunnossa olevat huussi ja nuotiopaikka. Iso plussa vielä majoittajista! Olivat älyttömän mukavia majoittujia kohtaan ja tarjosivat erilaisia, myös majoitukseen alunperin kuulumattomia, mahdollisuuksia kuten esimerkiksi sauna/poreamme.

Majoitukseen kuuluva erillinen talousrakennus ja sieltä löytyvät "yleiset tilat" eivät vastanneet puumajan tasoa. Perus keittiövälineet löytyivät ruuanlaittoon ja jääkaappi ruokia varten, mutta muuten rakennus oli vähän kolkko. Olisi ollu lisäksi kiva, jos peseytymismahdollisuudet olisivat olleet lähellä puumajaa, eivätkä talousrakennuksessa.

So many facilities available and the spot where they’ve put the tent is beautiful and secluded with a very cute grill site next to it too! It exceeded my expectations. The hosts immediately offered me a secure, covered place to leave my bike and showed me all the facilities. They even said if the weather would turn I could sleep inside. The kitchen was relatively complete for any cooking you might want to do. There’s another space indoors where you can have a warm shower and lounge even. There’s a proper indoor toilet there too. But then the campsite is amazing. Tucked away from the main farm house across the field with a beautiful view of the surrounding farmland you feel almost complete secluded. They’ve set up a beautiful place where you can have your own charcoal bbq as well. And the tent is spacious and opens up so you have a nice view from inside it too. The bed is comfortable and the duvet is very warm. They provided sleeping bags too in case you get cold. Thought of everything there’s even woolly socks for your use, solar powered outdoor lighting and a flashlight. There’s a compostable outdoor toilet next to the tent as well. Alternatively the farm house is only a couple hundred meters away and there you have a proper indoor toilet. Beautiful place and peaceful surroundings.
