Lovely apartment, very well equipped,clean and comfortable bed longe and well equipped kitchen.
Joseph was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Marina, Joseph’s mother was a delight, very welcoming and even made cake and gave me some. Marina also took me to the airport when Joseph’s usual taxi could not accommodate me.
Overall this was a great experience and I would highly recommend .very good restaurant close by but got very busy.
A little further out of Heraklion than I fist thought and no supermarket near .

Die Unterkunft war komfortabel eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Gastgeber Joseph war sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Warm welcome by Joseph (past midnight!) who gave us lots of useful information. Ground floor apartment had everything we needed including water, oil, salt and pepper , fruit and raki! Seven Sports Club Cafe just down the road for breakfast. Close to free bus into town at the stadium (though not Sat pm or Sunday). Red hop on/hop off bus Beach Route goes past though and kindly let us off at unscheduled stop - Knossos is also on their route. Excellent fish restaurant, reasonably priced, on the beach. Beach is very close but has no facilities. Parking outside the property.
Taxi driver needed help to find the address - make sure you have it on Google maps! Run down location. Outlook from terrace is onto dusty road and steep bank up to main road. Footbridge across river to city now closed so it’s a long trek on a hot day. Nearest supermarket is 20 mins walk - Piliethnic food market is closer but doesn’t have basics like milk and eggs.

Thanks to Joseph and his mom for hospitality. Shared information about bus to the center, very nice taverns and restaurants. Provided additional fan almost immediately. Thanks for raki and fruits in the fridge.
Comfortable apartments where everything is available- kettle, coffee maker, tableware, iron, stove, etc. The bad quality is nice. Good balcony. Always places for car parking are available that’s important there.
Hard to find the 1st time by car even with navigator.
Window in the bedroom must be closed for air conditioning working in the living room. Not convenient.
Wc door makes some noise during closing. Not good for night.
