About this cottage rental
Welcome to our newly constructed in 2023 Point Beach Cottage, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This thoughtfully designed home located in the serene Point Beach neighborhood of Egg Harbor is a perfect spot to take in the breathtaking beauty of Door County.
This spacious and inviting home is the perfect retreat for families, boasting 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests, best suited for up to 6 adults and 2 children. Inside, our home is equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Unwind and create lasting memories around the firepit, complete with comfortable Adirondack chairs, for storytelling or roasting marshmallows under the starry sky. The back patio runs the length of the home, partially covered, providing a serene spot for relaxation and outdoor dining.
This property allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs. There is an additional fee collected at booking.

Bedroom 3: includes two Twin beds (bunked) and a Full-size bed

Bathroom 1: Full bathroom with walk-in shower only
Bathroom 2: Full bathroom with shower tub combo, hair dryer
Supports Electric Vehicle charging with a 50 AMP outlet, which will support a Level 2 charger. Guests should bring their own charger.

Our home is a quiet family neighborhood in a great location, just a couple of blocks from a dead-end where you can walk down to the bay.

• Mezzanine offers great views of the bay
• The Big Easy has delicious breakfasts, including beignets
• Activities: Egg Harbor Fun Park,
Golfing at the short course at Peninsula Park,
Cana Lighthouse, Cave Point, Peninsula Park: biking and walking up Eagle Tower
Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
-Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

We had a great time! Everything was fabulous. Would have liked to have at the very least salt available, but we made do. Garbage bags would have been helpful. Minor details for an overall gorgeous home.

We loved the location-close enough to all the things but on a quiet road just outside of downtown. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were set up well and we had everything we needed. Perfect stay a family!

Small clean property
We stayed here before
We were told of possible construction noise in the neighborhood during our stay. Did not suggest that HEAVY equipment and machinery (excavators, etc. ) and 8-9 workman's trucks on the street in front of the house and sometimes in our driveway beginning as early as 6:45 AM!!
Road to the house was actually blocked a number of times with trucks
Would have cancelled had we known
Inventory however would have meant no Door County vacation that week for us
We had to take the chance on this property as we love DC so much
Owners / property managers should not have allowed this property to be available at least for the week we were there
