Our family loves the beach and many memories are made on beaches around the world. Family Tides is our beach getaway close to our home in Salisbury, MD. You will be staying in our second home managed by us, not a management company. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and know the difference between “good” and “amazing” and we prefer “amazing”.

Family Tides is located at unit #911 on the Oceanfront of the Gateway Grand Residences on the 9th floor. Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath home will comfortably sleep your family of 8 including a full over full bunk bed for the kids and two king beds.

This isn’t a corporate-owned or managed vacation property. This is our family’s beach getaway. We manage it ourselves. We live in Salisbury, Maryland only 30 minutes away. If you call for assistance, you call the owners’ mobile phones, not a call center. We have decorated and equipped it for our own use. From a Yeti cooler perfect for the beach to our Sonos Bluetooth speaker to beach chairs, umbrella and buggy, you get to use what we use when we go to the beach!

Our living area has a large, modern sectional sofa overlooking the Ocean and a 70-inch TV over an electric fireplace for those rainy days or lazy evenings.

The well-equipped kitchen has a 3-seat bar to entertain your family while cooking. Our kitchen includes a coffee maker, air fryer, blender, a wine fridge, modern refrigerator with beverage drawer and ample cabinet storage. We have outfitted the kitchen with every doodad you should need during your stay. If you love to do laundry on vacation, we have a full laundry room with washer and dryer.

The master bedroom has a king bed and access to the balcony through a sliding patio door. The enormous window looking over the ocean provides a unique opportunity to fall asleep while staring at the Ocean. Beware…you will need to go to bed wearing sunglasses as the sunrise through that window is like a laser beam! The master has its own very large private ensuite bathroom with a large shower, expansive double vanity, and jacuzzi tub.

The second bedroom features a king bed with access to the hall bath that includes a full-size tub/shower. The bedroom includes a ceiling fan, a large closet, and 50-inch TV.

The third bedroom (the kid's room) features a beautiful and adventurous full over full bunk bed, ceiling fan, large closet, and 50-inch TV. This bedroom has its own private full bath with a tub/shower.

Traveling with really little ones? We have included a pack-and-play and a high chair.

As far as tech goes, we have Comcast wifi and cable TV. All rooms have large TV’s and cable boxes. You’re welcome to use our Sonos Move wireless speaker throughout the home and on the balcony. Our electric fireplace creates a cozy vibe in the evening if that’s your thing.

We have equipped this as our own home. Every bathroom has a blow dryer and towels. And, unlike most area vacation rentals, WE PROVIDE BED LINENS for free. Upon your arrival, all beds will be made with fresh linens! Heck, we even throw in a starter pack of paper goods (paper towels and toilet paper). We also provide ample beach towels…I mean, you will be at the beach all day, every day.

Speaking of the beach, our locker contains a beach buggy, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and sand toys.

The Gateway Grand building was designed around our beach. We have 3 different dune access points and an expansive beach just steps from the building. It’s amazing to be able to stand on your balcony and see your family down on the beach. The building has a side entrance directly into the storage center where the beach equipment lives. There is a beach shower inside the door for easy cleanup of sandy feet and equipment.

GG has a seasonal oceanfront pool, a year-round heated indoor pool, a well-equipped fitness center overlooking the beach, and a kid's playroom equipped with toys, activities, and a game console. Gateway Grand is the safest place in OC with controlled building entry, a gated parking garage, an enclosed second-floor pedestrian bridge from the garage to the main building, security cams in public areas, and 24/7 security at the front desk.
We have a digital smart lock and you will be assigned a code for access during your stay.
And the location, well it’s perfect. In midtown, away from the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk but a few minutes drive away from the Inlet and all of its attractions, we are a quick drive in from the Route 90 bridge. The building is directly across the street from the most popular restaurant/club in town, Seacrets. We are within walking distance of Dry85, Belly Busters, 45th Street Taphouse, Ally Oops, Bad Monkey, Finnegan's Irish Pub, and Satellite Cafe.

During peak season we rent from Saturday to Saturday only and require a 7 night stay. Outside of peak season, we can accept a minimum 6 night stay (Gateway Grand policy) and checkin checkout any day of the week. We don’t allow group rentals or primary renters under the age of 25. Our parking garage has a whopping 7-foot clearance. You may have up to 2 cars. (Parking permit must be picked up from GG Front Desk at check in). Due to condo rules, we can’t accept pets. You will see pets in the building but those are tagged, permitted pets for owner-occupants. The condo rules prohibits renters from having pets. Our building is a non-smoking, non-vaping building. There are a couple of designated smoking areas around the perimeter of the building.

There is a $120 non-refundable condo association registration/parking fee due with your reservation.
