Estrela do Geres

The views must be the most amazing thing there is. Loved waking up to the view even when we didn’t have the greatest weather. The area is also amazing. Lots of waterfalls and walks. The pool, generous bedrooms and bathrooms. Very friendly and accommodating host.

There nothing we didn’t like 😀

The location is amazing, with an excellent view to the lake. There are A/C in all the rooms, living room and kitchen so it was very easy to stay comfortable even in winter. The property was very clean, we found coffee and tea and some cooking basics (oil, salt, spices). The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious. We could cook together as a group. The space was bright and welcoming. Pay attention that all the rooms have double beds. For those of us who weren't couples it still worked but we had to share the bed. The bedrooms were clean, well lit, and comfortable.

The driving access ramp to the house is very steep and narrow. I found it harrowing, but, with time, it can be managed. The owner cleaned it of leaves before we arrived so it wouldn't be so slippery. So they were very careful with us.

La maison était très confortable, très bien équipée et très propre. La vue était magnifique. La piscine était toujours très contrôlée et nettoyée tous les 2 jours par les propriétaires donc toujours très propre.
