Don't Pass This Up!

This is the sage's choice for the Kona side of the Big Island. I wanted to live at this place! It's a large room with a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric hot water kettle, dishes , cups, silverware, etc. Very nice roomy bathroom. Having a washer and dryer was amazing! And sitting on the lani was truly tranquiler with a fabulous view of the Pacific. The guest house is located in a quiet neighborhood a little up the hill from Kona (about 2-3 mins - so nice to be away from the jumble of Kialua (Kona)) with pretty landscaping. If I come back to the Big Island, I'll hope this place is available to stay. Don't miss out!

It was a nice place with an exceptional view of the ocean!

We generally liked the facilities. Nice large king-size bed. The view was SPECTACULAR! I liked the Keurig, Microwave, small fridge.

On our second night, in the bathroom, about 3 am, midges (some small critters like that) swarmed in. Also, FLEAS--yes, FLEAS! Dozens of them. That was NOT GOOD! The first night---NO PROBLEMS.

Yes, tranquil!

This location was truly tranquil. The views from the porch were stunning and relaxing. We could sleep with the windows open and a wonderful breeze. Ate breakfast and snacks on the porch. Roomy bathroom. Many great sites to visit. We would definitely return.

Property is as described, just be sure you look at the pics for the room you book. The king room we had has a microwave and toaster oven but no stove or sink - it's really a converted closet with a counter and small frig and coffee bar. So don't plan on actually cooking. But that was OK with us. There were dishes and utensils, etc.

Wonderful place to stay with incredibly kind hosts!

Beautiful location, owners were super kind, and the room was very comfortable. Lots of extra towels and bathroom products, snacks in the room when we arrived. We really had a wonderful time!

The ONLY minor detail I would note which is completely out of control of the owners is at night there are local frogs which are very loud. If you are a light sleeper I just recommend ear plugs. Other than that, it was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the big island and loved this cozy space as a home base for our adventures!

The property was in a quiet neighborhood and had beautiful views of the ocean from the lanai. It was conveniently located close to town and near the highway. Loved hearing the sounds of coqui frogs at night!

There was no AC which wasn’t a huge issue since we were gone for most of the day and it cooled down sufficiently at night.

Everything was very nice. The sunset view is spectacular. Shawna was very accomodating.

There was no breakfast. We did eat breakfast at Uncle Kimos nearby and thought it had very good food.

We couldn’t figure out how operate the TV. Printed set of instructions would be nice.

Relaxing and Beautiful.

Breakfast was not included. Measls not included. The view on the Lanai was beautiful over-looking Kona. It was a breath-taking view. This is our fifth time staying here. Most of the time we go out to eat. Sometimes we bring meals back to the unit and enjoy the sunset. Which is always spectcular.

Paradise close to Kona

Wonderful room! Pics don’t give this place any justice. We loved it, not only because it’s conveniently located (5minutes drive from Kona, but far from the crowd), but also because the owners made us feel welcomed and cared for. The view is awesome. You will get everything you need and more! Absolutely recommended!

I would have liked more room in the freezer. It was pricey to be a B&B, but it was Labor’s day weekend and we really enjoyed our staying.

Amazing Big Island experience

Safe neighborhood, very comfortable room with all the little things you need to have an easy, worry-free stay. We spent entire days hiking and got back to the room usually by sunset. Those evenings on the balcony wrapped up our days perfectly. Hosts (including dog 🙂) were wonderful!

Apartmán s krásným výhledem

Apartmán má z terasy krásný výhled na moře. Přivítání s mojí jmenovkou bylo velmi hezké. Pokoj je velký s velkou postelí, k pokoji náleží menší šatna a koupelna. Ve skříni se ukrývá mikrovlnná trouba, kávovar a nádobí. K dispozici je lednička. Vše bylo čisté. Skvělým doplňkem byla možnost použít pračku a sušičku a také zapůjčení věcí na pláž - skládací křesílka, slunečník, šnorchl, masku, boty do vody a mnoho dalšího. Komunikace s majiteli byla na výborné úrovni, reagovali velmi rychle a vstřícně.

Rozkládací gauč není moc pohodlný na spaní.

Tolles Apartment privat geführt. Sehr nette Besitzer. Ruhige Lage am Hang mit traumhaftem Ausblick von der Veranda. Alles da was man benötigt. Sehr saubere und geräumige Zimmer.

Um es kurz zu machen, es hat fast alles gepasst! Traumhaft die Aussicht, liebevoll die EInrichtung, ruhig die Lage, groß das Badezimmer, lieb unsere Hosts! Obst vom eigenen Garten gegenüber, was will Frau/Mann mehr?

Ein Wehmutströpfchen habe ich; das Geschirr musste im Badezimmer gespült werden. Auch war kaum Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden. Das eklärt auch meine Bewertung, 9 von 10 Punkten. Wären diese Negativpunkte nicht gewesen, wäre es das Paradies gewesen:-)
