Family trip to Lapland

Bathroom seemed to have heated flooring in the bath room which was a nice touch, overall cabins were small but adequate. The cabin was also well equipped, toaster, fridge, cooking facilities, microwave and a kettle. Found the beds comfy. Overall a pleasant stay would do it again.

Due to the nature of the stay didn't have many interactions with any staff.

Cozy wooden cabin next to a frozen lake.

Very nice and cozy little cabin just outside Kemijarvi, next to a lake. Very clean and well equipped for short stays. There is even a sauna inside which comes really good after all day snow activities in -20 degrees Celsius. In front of the cabin there is also a parking spot. The hosts were really nice and helpful, easy to communicate and they solved all of our doubts in a minute.

The toilet was a bit small, but nothing to worry about for a short stay.

Great place to stop on the way to Ruka.

Stayed here for one night on the way to Ruka, just after landing at Rovaniemi. We were upgraded for free to a beautiful larger cabin. Very easy to find and would recommend.

Cosy nature stay for a short getaway

Kari who manages the Cabins was extremely welcoming and nice. He offered us an earlier check-in and a later check-out which we highly appreciated. The Cabins are a short walk into the center with a beautiful view of the lake and nature. It was extremely quiet, the Cabins are clean, cosy and equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Our cabin had their own sauna which was great. We were lucky enough to see the Northern lights right outside of our cabin. We recommend and would return!

Some slight improvements could be made on the insulation of the built-in sauna and the cabins itself. We have to also mention that we had extremely low temperatures during our stay of -40, the cabin kept us warm, but we could feel the draft through windows, doors and in the sauna.

Excellent stay

The cabin was very easy to find via google maps. There wasn't many photos of the view on the listing, but the view from the cabin window was incredible, I would love to visit again in summer to be able to sit outside with a coffee and enjoy the scenery. It came with everything we needed for our stay for cooking and cleaning plus shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom which was really helpful as we didn't have room to bring our own. It was lovely in the evening sitting by the fire, it was always lovely and warm in the cabin even whilst it was very cold outside. Everyone in our party agreed the beds were extremely comfortable, and the bedroom had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The cabin was within easy walking distance of lidl and k-market with lovely views along the way. If visiting again I would 100% want to stay here again it was a perfect break.

Another baking tray would make cooking easier as there was only one so took a while to cook when we had multiple things to cook. We couldn't get on the wifi, but we could log in to our netflix on the tv so we had entertainment in the evenings so it wasn't a big problem.

Traditional cabins looking at a lake.

The traditional wooden cabins located by the lake are fantastic opportunity to chillax. There are some activities to find in a drive distance and a restaurant in a walking distance. The owner is very nice and generous also with some good information. We stayed only two days but could enjoy another couple of days easy.

The cabins are designed to keep the heat in winter it was very hot inside in the heatwave.

Location was amazing, really nice landscape. Staff were friendly. In the cabin is microwave, kettle, coffee maker and all the equipment you need to make your own food.

We had cabin number 8, it has sauna inside. But if you want to use it, it costs additional. For the bed lines you need to pay extra 10 euros per person, if you don’t have your own bed lines.

Klein, aber fein!

Süße kleine Holzhäuser außerhalb vom ganzen Trubel des Weihnachtsmann Dorfes. Schlicht und einfach eingerichtet, ohne viel schnick Schnack, aber alles was man besucht ist da. Heizung macht das Häuschen super warm. Es liegt super ruhig direkt am See, trotzdem sind fussläufig Supermärkte, Tankstelle und Cafés erreichbar. Schlitten für unseren Sohn konnten wir uns auch leihen. Bei Problemen helfen die Besitzer sofort!

Die Kissen hätten besser sein können.

Деревянные домики расположенные у озера вдали от суеты создают сказочную атмосферу. Внутри есть всё необходимое( фен, чайник, микроволновка, мини-кухня и т.д.). Внутри было достаточно тепло в декабре. Супермаркеты 5-7 мин пешком, жд станция - 15 мин. Хозяин Кари очень внимательный и отзывчивый. Когда агентство отменило нашу экскурсию прям накануне, то Кари помог решить нашу проблему и найти альтернативу. Прекрасное место, рекомендую

Super séjour à Kemijärvi

Cabine très agréable et chaleureuse, bien équipée et confortable, le sauna intégré est appréciable ! Le personnel est réactif en cas de besoin. Nous avons apprécié le lit 160 cm. Très belle expérience, je vous recommande ces logements !

Le ménage n'était pas très bien fait, nous avons trouvé des bonbons par terre, en plus de la poussière. Absence d'un store occultant sur la porte d'entrée, qui serait le bienvenue.

Hütte am See

Kontakt freier Check-in, türcode wurde gesendet, somit später Check-in möglich. Doppelbett bequem aber schmal, Sauna funktionierte gut, Mückengitter über fast jedem Fenster, schöne Lage am See

WC sehr eng, Türe schließt nicht mehr, generell teilweise Holztüren verzogen, sodass sie nicht mehr zugehen, Grillplatz schon lange nicht mehr verwendet, kein Holz verfügbar - das ist man in Finnland nicht gewöhnt 😃

Hyvä sijainti, pienessä mökissä kaikki tarvittava, liinavaatteet kuului hintaan, myöskään lemmikistä ei mennyt lisämaksua. Kysymyksiini sain hetkessä vastauksen Bookingin kautta.

Kosate-mökin vessa oli tosi ahdas. Suihku/sauna kaipaisivat päivitystä. Kaikki toimi kuitenkin moitteetta ja saunassa oli hyvät löylyt!

Hienolla paikalla. Pienessä mökissä kaikki tarpeellinen kahdelle ihmiselle ja pienelle koiralle. Plussaa hyvästä asiakaspalvelusta! Plussaa myös siitä, että ei ollut piilokuluja esim. lemmikistä.

Mökki oli todella kuuma. Ulkona toki oli parhaimmillaan 30 astetta lämmintä ja aurinko porotti. Mökissä ollut tuuletinkaan ei juuri auttanut kuumuutta.

Siisti ja hyvinvarusteltu mökki Liinavaatteet sisältyivät hintaan. Palvelualtis isäntä.

Alue oli etenkin pikkumökkien osalta kovin ahdas, joten järin viihtyisäksi en sitä kutsuisi. Wifin kanssa oli aluksi pientä häikkää (prepaid:n saldo nolla), mutta soitto isännälle ratkaisi asian nopeasti.

Vähän keskeneräisen oloinen, kun grillin tiilet sikinsokin ja tälläistä, mutta uskon, että tulevaisuudessa vallan potentiaalinen paikka. Vessassa oli lämminvesivaraaja mikä oli tavattoman kuuma ja hanavedestä saa kyllä vahingossa palovamman ellei ole varovainen. Joku termostaatti voisi olla hyvä siihen, kun nyt tosiaan näytti vain olevan 1kW ja 3kW kytkimet.
