Lovely Baťa house in a colony of similar red-brick homes, within walking distance of downtown Zlín. Although the garden was under renovation, it didn’t bother us. There were friendly animals in the house. The rooms, while a bit small and outdated, were comfortable and reminded us of old times at our grandmothers’ homes. The host was friendly and talkative — he made me a delicious coffee on Sunday morning before we left. Zlín is an amazing place for a weekend getaway!
We have no big complaints, as we only used the house for sleeping and spent the entire time exploring the city of Zlín.

Hostitel je vstřícný, komunikativní, otevřený. Ubytování má atmosféru. Spousta zvířat. Možnost uschovat kola v předsíni.
Až po příjezdu jsme zjistili, že uvedené fotky se vztahují i ke sdíleným místnostem a navíc nejsou aktuální. Po příjezdu se ukázalo, že jedna z fotek větší místnosti není jedna ze tří ložnic v horním patře, ale že je to obývák v přízemí, kde bydlí hostitel, tedy není primárně určena k našemu pobytu. Přestože jsme jeli do anoncovaného sdíleného domu, bývali bychom uvítali i nějaké rodinné soukromí. Horní patro k tomu není uzpůsobeno, neboť nenabízí žádný obývák. Největším prostorem pro rodinu je koupelna a terasa. 3 ložnice nenabízejí žádný úložný prostor, pro delší pobyt nebylo kam si vybalit. Čistota kuchyňského vybavení.

Excellent location near to the centre of Zlin. Great host, Georg, who speaks English brilliantly. Amazing to visit a Bata property which has been renovated to a very high standard.
Kiko is a lovely dog who is very friendly when he gets to know you, but if you don't like dogs, or are allergic to cats, let Georg know and he will accommodate your needs.
