Elias Guest House

The host here was wonderful — when I arrived by taxi, dropped off in the wrong spot because the address didn't match the actual location (something I kept running into with Booking.com addresses in Saranda), she came out and walked down the hill to meet me, helping with my luggage, and her husband came down too to help carry it the rest of the way. They were both incredibly kind and pleasant throughout my stay. One evening, she brought me homemade spinach pie, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room itself was simple but had everything I needed, and the pillows were genuinely some of the best I slept on during my time in Albania — a welcome surprise after finding most pillows here on the firmer side. The value for the money was excellent, and the hosts were responsive and attentive the whole way through.
