It’s a good location, away from the crowds but close to all the nice beaches and nature activities. The apartment is new and clean. Very good value for money.

As others said, the fans are not strong enough to keep the air flow and it gets very hot and stuffy so a bit hard to sleep. What was a bit unexpected (but maybe normal in France?) is that nothing is provided as in - toilet paper and basic things. Also what I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere is a 60 euro cash deposit that is taken in case you don’t clean (mopping, cleaning the kitchen and so on). We didn’t mind so much but I never had to clean a Booking.com rental or buy basic hygiene products, so this would be great to know beforehand imo.

Manque une clim, parking un peu juste

Excellent price, great value for money. Convenient location if your focus is on the numerous attractions of the West (Caribbean) coast of Basse-Terre and if you have a car. The quality of the apartment is outstanding. Everything is modern and very clean. Very comprehensive kitchen equipment. All you could ever need is available. Strong WiFi. Quiet, apart from the occasional car along the road. Strong hot water supply. Good communication with host who lives on site and is flexible. Would book again.

Although ventilation is provided by ceiling fans in each room, an A/C would probably be better, at least in the bedroom, as it can get very hot. The apartment is on the ground floor, so you might have the occasional insects. However, I was not being bothered by moskitos.
