Bedding and pillows not what we are used to, bit too soft for our liking

The keys to the property were easily accessed using a code from a lock box. The location was ideal for what we wanted (Open Air Theatre, Sea Life Centre, North Bay Promenade). The set up in the house was good, outdoor seating, garden, bi-fold door to let plenty of air in, well equipped kitchen. Drive parking was a bonus, it was easy to find and didn't use the car as we walked everywhere. The little pub/cafe place (The Old Scalby Mill) down the hill near the Sea Life Centre served lovely food, proper home cooked chips just like my mum used to make - ate there a few times. Also recommend the sausage and cheese muffin from the cafe in the Sea Life Centre.

My young son thought it was the best bed in the world, me on the other hand prefer a pillow I can sink into, plus I don't sleep great anyway. The weather was lovely so needed the windows open during the night .... how annoyingly noisy are seagulls!? This isn't a reflection on the property, it is just part and parcel of a coastal town, maybe consider ear defenders! :)

Several issues regarding cleanliness, filthy bbq, baking tins and milk frother, bbq and baking tins sorted quickly but unable use on first day which was inconvenient. Spiders webs everywhere and kitchen sink smelly. Stairgate had missing part but new brought straightaway Shower rail fell onto child in bath
