A Perfect Stay at The Merry Moonshine Our recent stay at The Merry Moonshine cabin was nothing short of amazing. The moment we walked in, we were struck by how beautiful and spacious the cabin was. Everything was spotless — you can tell the owners take real pride in keeping the place clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The amenities made the stay even better. We spent evenings relaxing in the hot tub, mornings playing games, and late nights around the pool table enjoying friendly competition. The cabin has that perfect balance of cozy charm and fun entertainment. But what truly set this stay apart was the host. They reached out consistently — not in a bothersome way, but in a genuinely caring, “just making sure you’re comfortable” way. Every message felt thoughtful, and it made our trip completely worry‑free. Knowing someone was available and attentive made the experience feel personal and elevated. Location

Location was great. As you first walked in the door, the really nice cabin scent was pleasant. The beds were comfortable. The leather furniture was really nice and comfortable. The outdoor furniture was nice as well. Everything was clean. AC worked really good. Very nice place to stay.

Nothing

Awesome location, so convenient to absolutely everything! The cabin is very cozy and homey!! The hot tub was a great addition and we were pretty much the only ones staying in the cabins at this location which was cool! It is still private but not so private you can’t just drive down the street to town which is huge for us! The fireplace was also wonderful! We will definitely be back and hopefully stay in the goat cabin next!

I don’t think it was cleaned thoroughly, there were lots of crumbs beside the fridge and behind the couch. I know some places are tough to get but it can kind of ick you out a bit. I ended up taking advantage of the vacuum and cleaning most of it up myself so not the end of the world! The bed was another downside to this property. The duvet comforter kept falling to the end of the sheet and the mattress in the king room wasn’t comfortable. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!
