Dimos Sea View- Ktena Accomodation

Fabulous location and great view. Really enjoyed staying at this property and Miriam was very friendly and popped by when we had problems using the hob.

There are around 50 metal steps to get to the property so not easy to carry your bag up. However once in the flat it was absolutely fine. There were several overhead lights flickering in the lounge so unable to use them (the bulbs need changing). There was some noise in the bedrooms from the local bars but once the door was closed it wasn’t too bad.

Sehr zentrale Lage

nice location, big space

nothing we didn’t like, everything was great

We had a pleasant stay at this apartment, which is in a very central location in Nidri, making it extremely convenient for restaurants, bars, shops and the waterfront. The apartment itself is very well equipped, spotlessly clean, comfortable and clearly very well maintained. A lot of thought has gone into providing everything you could need during your stay, and the standard of the accommodation was very good. Because of the very central location, there is also some noise from Mimmicos Bar at the rear of the property, particularly noticeable from the bedroom in the evening. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the apartment itself to be clean, comfortable and well presented. However, taking the access, noise and difference between the two apartments into consideration, we probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

There are a few things worth being aware of when booking. Access is via the bar below, with metal steps which are quite steep, particularly when carrying heavy luggage. There also seems to be some confusion with the photographs on the booking listing, as there are two properties positioned above one another. The balcony and view from the lower apartment are not quite as impressive as the photographs might lead you to expect, so it would be worth clarifying which apartment you are booking. Also there is nothing typically Greek about this property…we could have been anywhere. This isn’t a massive issue but something we realise is more important to us than we initially thought.
