Clean and tidy, more than enough clean towels and bedding, virgin TV with access to all channels. Very comfortable. 10 minute walk to the train station that took you straight into London in 15 minutes.
The living room needs one or two more table/floor lamps to make it feel really cosy.

The house was very clean and bright. The rooms had very lovely beds and other beautiful amenities. We had 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms which was perfect for a family of 6. The best part was the huge kitchen and all the amenities provided. The plates and cutlery were generous too. They had a welcome pack and note for us which warmed our hearts. The backyard garden was so magical with the decor and the chimes. Overall, we had an amazing time and the house was on the road so transport to and from the house was so easy with bus stops just 2 mins away and the train station very accessible on foot or by a short bus ride. To top it all, the house is 3 or 4 mins walk to Selhurst Park Stadium, the home of Crystal Palace football club. It was a pleasant surprise to be so close to a stadium.
The expectation to clean up the house before departure came as a surprise. We got an email saying we should clean up the house and keep it as neat as we met it which was tough as we had an early morning flight to catch and we were travelling with children. We also paid the compulsory cleaning fee charged at booking and we were left wondering what the fee was meant to cover. We spent most of our last night and the very early hours of the departure morning cleaning up so that we could get our security deposit refunded in full. Other places we stayed on this same summer trip and previous trips only gave instructions on where to keep the keys and switching off electrical appliances. We also had slight issues with the external garbage bins and the heater. The team resolved the bin issues while my husband sorted out the heater
