Great location for exploring Whitby. Comfortable, good quality accomodation. Big rooms, lots of storage space. Well appointed with good WIFI.
Despite having room for 6 adults there is only one car parking space. Car parking in Whitby in the summer is expensive so this is important. We spent over £90 in parking fees in July for a week. AVOID THE ANPR car park in Silver Street. Its notorious for catching out people with large additional parking fees. Also frustratingly, there was an EV charge point for each parking space at The Mount, but these were not available for guests.

Great location & views Spacious
Unfortunately there were quite a few areas that weren’t the cleanest . Cobwebs / spiders around window areas , coffee cup / other marks on window sills , dusty in areas and carpets on main area has hairs / dust feeling they hadn’t been hoovered in a while / properly . Also musty smell when entering the building. Shower screen didn’t seem big enough for over the bath shower so a lot water ended up on floor when we had showers
