Die Unterkunft liegt am Strand Praia de Cabral in Sal Rei. Mein Apartement ging zwar zur Landseite hinaus, trotzdem konnte man noch einen Teil des Meeres sehen. Die Fenster sind mit Moskitonetzen abgeklebt, dadurch sind zwar keine Stechmücken im Apartement, aber die Fensterläden lassen sich nicht öffnen. Dadurch bleiben Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer dunkel. Mich hat es nicht gestört, weil ich auf dem Balkon gegessen hatte.

Mir haben im Bad Duschgel und in der Küche ein Sieb gefehlt.

Lovely apartment, right across from Cabral Beach. Quiet area within walking distance from the main 'town' (there's not much there!) and about half an hour walk from Estoril beach (where there's more restaurants/ bars/ watersports). Secure building and there always seems to be someone around as 'security'. Light, airy apartment. Very well equipped kitchen (self-catering would be easy if you can find a good enough selection of food in the shops!), plenty of towels, very clean and serviced every couple of days. Big fans in the bedrooms. Insect screens on windows/ doors. Lovely balcony with airer and furniture as well as a lovely view. The pool is great, with lots of sun beds. The public bar on site is open most days and does great, fresh food. Lady Ana was available on WhatsApp when we needed her and was able to organise taxis to and from the airport as well as a great island trip. Very accommodating with flexible check-in/ check-out.

Nothing major. - hot water was intermittent. - beds in the twin room were quite narrow & pillows very thin compared to the main bedroom. - some of the insect nets on windows/ doors were a bit temperamental!
