Spacious 4 bedroom house

The location was lovely, the parking was perfect for 2 cars, the house itself was mostly clean throughout and very spacious. There was a lovely oven for cooking and all of your basic facilities like kettle, microwave etc, the house itself was beautifully decorated too, the host was responsive and lovely, the tv was huge and was fantastic for watching movies on come evening. It was peaceful in the area and whilst we didn't use the garden it would have been fine to use and a great size.

I can't express how solid the beds are, there is absolutely no give when you lay on them, it's like laying on a concrete floor and with one of my friends being heavily pregnant (36 weeks!) this was a real problem, to match this I suffer with back issues and whilst a firm bed is good these beds were way past firm and were more concrete floor, I was genuinely shocked it was an actual mattress, I half expected a wooden board with a topper on it when I looked. There was a lack of utensils for cooking meals, enough cutlery but pans, trays and large utensils were either not available or very poor condition. The conservatory was lovely and we wanted to use it but it was so cold with the heating making no difference, the table would have been much better suited indoors where the second sofa is.

Communication with host was exellent! lots of storage on rooms and lugs for phones by beds very thoughtful. pub 5 minutes walk for an evening meal!
