Location. It has good amenities. Right next Walmart.

The electric lock did not work. It was so cold when we arrived that the lock did nothing. Apparently this is common. This is all happening at 2:30am (cancelled flight) without staff to assist. Thank goodness there was a security guard to open the gate for us to get into the property. We called in but the lockbox we got a code for was empty. We could hear the keys in the second box but we couldn’t get a code. Eventually our body heat must have warmed up the doorway and the lock started making noise and eventually let us in (4am) The next day we called in and got the the proper code for the box with the keys in it. I don’t know why the person I spoke with at 2:30am said there was only one code and the other person I spoke to in the morning said she had a second code to try. Be warned…. Electric locks don’t always work in extreme cold Just to note, my reservation was for 7 people. The paperwork actually said 8. There were only 6 bath towels and 6 beach towels. We managed fine because it was so cold we couldn’t swim but I think there should be enough towels for the number of people on the reservation.

We had a great time. There was plenty room for all 7 adults.it was clean and the host brought us plenty towels as well. I was very happy that they came by and put a curtain up in the main bedroom. It was still bright in the morning but we get up early anyways.

The sofa bed needs to he replaced we had to use an air mattress instead. Did not realize there was an age and weight limit for the bunk beds so we only used the bottom bunk.

The location was great even though it was not clearly signed! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The facility has 2 pools, one with a Mushroom waterfall, and one on the other side. Pool area was clean and well lit. Outside restrooms are at both pools, along with a shower area and they were fine. Unit 1306 was on the top floor and it was clean. The linen felt clean, which is wonderful. It is located across from Wal Mart, which is very convenient. A bag of ice was $2.04 while the ice at the facility was $3 something. Elevator is very small but it worked.

Pictures, using their wide-angle lens, are a little deceiving. The place is pretty small but did accommodate the 5 of us well. #1 - HUGE Issue - the front bedroom has NO CURTAINS AT ALL!!!!! Not even a rod to say their use to be curtains. The street light shines right on in along with the sun in the morning! There should be black out curtains in the front bedroom and the patio doors! This should be fixed immediately! #2 - There is nothing that says Beach Haven anywhere, so there was time wasted on that. It is really the Victorian right across from Wal Mart and Sonic. #3 - No pepper. They gave us salt but no pepper! Big disappointment. #4 - Unit 1306 was okay. Clean and had dishes, old clean dish rags (only 2) that have seen better days but worked okay. The TV's (not that we used them) were super small. My CPU screen was bigger that the one in the front bedroom. Never saw a bug inside. #5 - The bunk beds were okay except it had a sign on it that said children under 8! I didn't see anything on line about that but it did hold my 130 lbs just fine. It was precarious getting up and down. I would only put someone who doesn't have to get up in the middle of the night on the top bunk. We made it work. #6 - The TV's (not that we used them) were super small. My CPU screen was bigger that the one in the front bedroom. The picture in the living room needs to be given away. It should be an inviting beach scene in my opinion and not some drab Victorian picture.

3TVs in our appartment, but no cable so couldnt watch anything. Otherwise everything was perfecft
