Owner contacted me ahead of time regarding arrival time so he could personally welcome us, give us a tour of the apartments and the property and give us the door codes. Everything was immaculately clean and modern, and the view of the lake was breathtaking! We requested a crib and high chair which were in the apartment when we arrived, along with a few nice touches of children’s dishes and silverware. I was initially nervous about being close to the water with small children but we were on the second floor and the clear glass patio enclosure was perfectly safe for them. We enjoyed the hot tub which was very clean and provided a relaxing view of the water and boats going by. It also was more warm than hot which we preferred so that the children could enjoy it as well. We weren’t brave enough to use the provided paddle boards or canoes on the lake as it was a bit chilly out, but I would have loved to of the weather was warmer. The location was off of a busy road with train tracks directly behind us, but honestly we had no issues with noise at all, and the entrance to the street is gated so I had no concerns about safety. The location is not walkable to anywhere but only a few minutes drive to the train station, Omegna center and San Giulio, so a car is necessary. We had a large van to accommodate our large family and the parking space provided was perfect. We loved the fluffy towels and robes and beds were very comfortable. Appreciated the blackout curtains especially for kids. We ordered daily breakfast which was delivered by pic Nic basket in the morning and everything was absolutely delicious and lovely to eat on the patio overlooking the lake. They have wines available to purchase if desired so no additional shopping needed! The kitchenette was exactly what we needed with fridge, freezer, stove, oven and dishes and cookware. We only wish we were able to stay longer! Everyone in the family had a wonderful stay and appreciated the attention to detail.
Kitchen trash had not been emptied before our arrival which was maybe just a small oversight but did not impact our stay. The starter pack was helpful with dish soap, sponge and one dishwasher pod, but at least 2-3 pods would have been ideal. No laundry facilities but there is a drying rack available on the porch for swimsuits, etc. We have small children who need a bathtub so I did purchase a travel bathtub to use as many places in Italy have only shower facilities, and this worked well to fill with the handheld shower head. There is no shower door so water often leaks out onto the bathroom floor which can make it very slippery and so extra caution if you have children or anybody with limited mobility. None of these things were deal-breakers, you just have to plan ahead!

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venions dans cet appartement. Nous étions déjà venu il y a un an et nous avions trouvé l'appartement et son emplacement juste incroyable. Le jardin donne directement sur le lac d'Orta qui est à 26 degrés fin Août. Alessio est très sympa et met à disposition gratuitement Kayak et Paddle. Je recommande les yeux fermés!!
