Luquillo Mar Home, 3 Bedrooms

Perfect location for what we wanted to do throughout the trip. 35 minutes to the ferry for Culebra trip, 30 minutes from SJU airport, 20 minutes to el yunque, a Walgreens down the road, OH! and the beach!! Luquillo has the cutest local beach vibes. Everyone in our group was also very happy with the place and location. The gas stovetop wasnt working upon arrival but the host quickly sent someone over to get it resolved. Extra bath and beach towels were provided which was much appreciated. Hot showers, comfy sofa with large TV screen. OH! and we got great use out of the expresso machine! Great stay for the start of our trip to Puerto Rico! Would book again 3

Clean House and have everything inside!

The property is nice well clean, nice neighborhood.

To be honest I am not satisfied for the price I paid. Where to start…..no curtains in the master bedroom, window faces an inaccessible backyard and a second building that appears abandoned. I requested curtains owner/manager replied that it would be taken care of but no one ever came to install. Just creepy. Hot water, a splash and then it’s gone, basically a cold shower. The owner/manager tried to feed me some bs that the city loses hot water but she was going to send a plumber to check the boiler, none of it makes sense to me. If you have a boiler, that is what supplies the hot water, what does the city have to do with it. Next, no beach chairs, no iron or ironing board. The positives, good neighborhood with park directly across the street. Local bakery/panderia, named Antique, was very good. Again not happy with the price I paid to have to deal with the nonsense. Disappointed, trying to do the “support local people businesses” thing but at what cost is it not worth it? I probably would have avoided posting this if at least the privacy curtains would have been installed, could not tell if anyone was outside looking in. Super uncomfortable!
